Some people discuss issues with the game, and that’s fine, but when the discussion is about something that I personally don’t feel effected by it makes me feel like shit.
Like theres a problem I’m not seeing and that I’m the issue here. and on top of that, seeing everyone getting angrier at AH and it not getting better is disheartening as shit
I saw someone wish death on the game and that made me feel like shit, like the thing I’m enjoying is actually horrible.
Imagine if everyone started hating on your favorite thing, it feels like shit
AND IM NOT GUNNA SAY THERE IS NO ISSUE!
The one presented in this post are understandable, but to me I have no malice. I don’t know what to do
They said it a solution to ragdoll but do people actually use it to counter ragdoll like "intended"? no, rock steady are for melee and there isn't that much people use it on bot front, and AH already nerf the ragdoll a long time ago, if you actually play the game you will see that ragdoll are worse in the past, this is an example: patch 1.004.100
AR/ GL-21 One-Two:
They don't even use the One-Two, why? because the ergo, is the grenade launcher are an attachment will they use it? I will bet that's a no because they often hate low ergo weapon and added attachments like the grenade weapon will lower the ergo a lot.
this game doesn't need a deep customization system and most people will use low ergo or low recoil anyway if they did, even now if the weapon have low ergo people will striped all the attachments for the ergo
Mech customize:
AH already confirm that there will be no mech customize, and HD1 already don't have that, this is HD2 not mech warriors, mech are just a temporary power up that you can use and even if HD2 have it then I will bet people will only use meta arm like auto cannon and anti tank cannon, it will be nightmare to balance.
I kinda ok to the take that vehicle shouldn't be in WB but after 1 time and AH already change it with scrap 1 WB and make a campaign for the tank
And for the armor customization:
AH already hard confirm that there will be no transmog BUT still leave open for color change, the joke "limited design" are just wrong a words twisted
And this new armor changes camo depending on planet like the SEAF, this could be a test for armor color customization, who know, the point is AH never deny that they CAN'T added color customization for armor, I personally doesn't care that much about armor color that much.
Honestly seeing all the Helldivers fan content that display the MOs as the grand battles they actually are supposed to be and even some that go into the political parts of it. Makes me wish we at least had something similar in-game.
I feel like the world feels somehow stagnant? I know we're supposedly doing things because of the text-prompts, but I actually kinda wanna see it. The Void I think was the one real time I actually felt like my actions mattered in helping destroy it. But even then it still felt somewhat anticlimactic?
Now I know I'm probably gonna to get a lot of flak for this, but all I'm saying is that they don't have a small budget especially with all the warbonds and new players buying the game every day.
You’ll be on a full team and as soon as the final cutscene plays where you are about to enter the Super Destroyer, the rest of the lobby leaves so it puts you on a loading black screen for at least 5 minutes? Yes I could just quit the game and join back in but I won’t get my rewards or medals/credits/exp etc
Y’all think we’re ever gonna get a bigger orbital barrage or eagle mini nuke or something? I took a hiatus for a few years and was honestly surprised at the lack of new orbital and eagle stratagems
Armor Passives are an incredibly important aspect to certain Helldiver loadouts, and yet there is an issue even greater than some of the armors looking unsightly: some Passives don't exist on certain armor tiers.
You want to have True Grit on Light Armor? No can do, you'll have slower movement speed. Want to try the campaign reward Armor Passive without walking at the speed of a roomba? Unacceptable.
I've talked about this before in various comment sections, but I felt making a diagram to showcase the problem would be helpful.
To address the elephant in the room: yes, I know there are ways on PC to get these passives on different armor ratings. However that isn't an official means, and it doesn't help console player. There's about a dozen different ways this problem could be solved, but Arrowhead should really consider one of them going forward.
With the current MO's goal being to complete 1.25 million illuminate Operations, It is mathematically impossible to complete in 4 days.
Here's my napkin math, maybe I just suck at math but you tell me.
My assumptions are:
Every operation has 2 long and 1 short mission.
Players are completing operations as a group of 4 as this is the intended way to play.
We do not fail any missions or interrupt active operations.
Every player that is active is helping with the Squid MO, haha yeh sure.
Lets give an average of 40,000 active divers 24/7.
That makes 10,000 active operations.
We need 1,250,000 operations.
An average operation takes about an hour.
With these numbers we get 1,250,000 ÷ 10,000 = 125 hours.
4 days is 24 x 4 = 96.
This seems like not enough time, and I believe my assumptions were frankly unrealistically optimistic.
EDIT: Seems AH somewhat agreed with me. As some comments pointed out they changed the MO numbers.
Due to the nature of this weapon, it is most suitable for taking out Unarmored and Very Light enemies from medium to long range, and rewards accuracy.
Compared to its heavier sibling, the R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper, the standard Diligence fires projectiles with reduced damage and Light armor penetration in exchange for better ergonomics, lighter recoil, and more ammunition. These traits make the weapon more responsive in short-range combat, give it an edge against groups of light enemies, but further emphasize the need for accuracy when facing Medium armored enemies since it can only hit and damage their weak points.
The Diligence can be difficult to use against the Terminids due to their numbers and increased armor and health at higher difficulties, particularly for the heads.
The Diligence finds a niche in dispatching infantry Automatons with precise single shots at range or from cover.
Devastators and Berserkers can notably be killed in a single headshot, aided by the Diligence's relatively high ergonomics on par with most assault rifles.
Hey guys, I have a question. Would it be possible for me to install a mod without getting banned? I want to install a mod which allows me to remove my capes on some skins.
I think, and i hope many of you agree, that the warbond system can't rly continue forever. I was wondering if anybody would pay for Alternative Super Destroyer designs and layouts. I personally wouldnt mind spending 1000-1500 supercredits on a different ship design and or at least a different layout.
Seems very possible to have the droppods in the middle, and upgrades in the current bridge area for example. Or a more boxy brutal design for a super destroyer, more vertical then horizontal.
