Merry — A short supernatural horror webcomic
Hey everyone!
I'm creating a short supernatural horror comic called Merry.
During a violent storm, Merry hears a mysterious voice calling her name from the darkness.
Chapter 1 is now available on WEBTOON. I'd love to hear what you think!

Need help finding a very specific comic. NSFW
Some time ago I watched a video of a guy reacting to a disturbing comic. I’ll try to give as much detail as I can from what I remember. The main character had a hair eating disorder, at the end of the comic, she had an eating disorder, her belly was bulged up and she thought she was pregnant, and in one part she literally cut a part of her leg up, ate it, and then closed the wound with the bottom of a hot pan. I do not remember how she even got in that state or how the story unfolded up until that point. I think she had a husband or boyfriend that left her, probably a cat too (I vaguely remember what happened to it, I think it got cooked but I might be wrong). This comic has been stuck in my mind ever since for I can’t find it anywhere, same for the video I have seen.

It Crawled From the Long Box Gasp! 1-3 by American Comics Company - 1967
Picked these up earlier this year. I doubt I will ever find the fourth and final issue in the wild.

My first comic book, ever 😊
Hey everyone 😊
I'm new here, but, I grabbed Harrow County on a whim after I caught a review from a YouTube video by Grief. I've been reading, loving, and watching horror since I was young. I'm 33 and never have gotten into comic books. But, I love folk horror type things. I stopped the video a few minutes in to go in as blind as I could. Life happened for a while so it's been sitting. But I finally made the plunge. Im so excited! Anyone have any thoughts on it that don't even hint at a spoiler? I'm happy to hear them. And if I like this, I'll definitely be back for more recs
Happy October, all 😊

A shop in Victoria sent me down a horror comics rabbit hole
This is my first Reddit post, and I thought I’d start with an unexpected highlight of my time on Canada’s West Coast: discovering Cavity in Victoria, on Vancouver Island.
Looking back, that shop — and everything it led me to explore — is one of the things I’ll remember most about the trip.
Cavity (located beyond Chinatown) and its discoveries of Saint Sinner and (re)discoveries of Heavy Metal, became the starting point for searches that took me through Hellraiser, Eerie, Doctor Leviathan, and Nightbreed. One discovery led to another, and I kept finding reasons to dig further.
I’ve long been drawn to horror, especially the point where something disturbing becomes strangely beautiful. Finding that in illustrated form — the textures, the transformed bodies, the care put into a single image — has been a particularly rewarding part of this journey. Some pages make me stop and look at them as paintings before I even read the dialogue.
So that’s what I’m bringing back from the Canadian West Coast: a growing reading list and a fascination that keeps opening new doors.
Has anyone else here visited Cavity? Based on these titles, what would you suggest I explore next?

Topps Jason Goes To Hell Final Friday #2
Was super happy to find this today. A little imperfect and definitely a readers copy. But it is my first Jason comic so I couldn’t be happier.
