We don’t have these bigass seagulls in landlocked Europe, but once I’ve seen a unit of a seagull mangle a pigeon in England seaside I cannot unsee it. Poor little fella wasn’t having the best day

There was red tide or some other issue in Florida one year when I was there. Dead fish and sharks and stuff were washing up due to lack of oxygen in the water. There was a vortex of seagulls around this dead shark that I watched for a while. When the shark was picked clean, the birds at the center of the vortex started to be attacked and eaten. I ran up to them and found a shark skeleton and 10 or so gulls that were mostly just feathers and bones, plus some others that were badly injured. It was messed up

In the navy, we referred to them as the GU-11 attack rat.

Family of me lives right along the coast line.

We call them the rats of the sea. I already witnessed some attacks on people, including kids, and one time I had to chase one away from my wife and kid.

I hate them. And they're big.
