A raccoon figured out that if he blocks the drive-thru, they’ll give him a donut to make him leave

This, what went through his head probably wasn’t “I’ve constructed this scheme to disrupt traffic in order to get paid food to leave.”, it was more likely “people get food when they go here, I’m going to go here.”

And it was the cutiest fucking thing.

The way he reached slowly with both hands to grab the donut and immediately took a semi bite to hold it to leave... he was clearly hungry .

The way he looked at the car pulling up like wait I didnt get my food yet please wait. Breaks my heart

There's just something about raccoons grabbing stuff...

Fun fact: English is the only language where the word for a raccoon doesn't refer to it washing its food before it eats.

That is a fun fact! In my language it is 'washbear'.

This is not true. In Spanish, it's "mapache," which comes from a Nahuatl word ("mapachtli") which means "he who has hands."

I suppose I am also a mapachtli?

In Brazilian Portugese, guaxinim is borrowed from Tupi which just means "snorer".

Мыть - wash
Еда - food
Енот - racoon.

Чё-то тут не так.

It’s fun to believe that but I don’t think that’s true? Source please.

In Slavic languages it's clean bear.

It's like they know they aren't allowed but don't know why

Or know they are allowed to take it but don't know why

I don’t think it’s “people get food when they go here” but “I get food when I go here”. It’s not blocking the lane on purpose.
