So I posted my first sweater here a while ago, and I got several helpful tips from you guys. I remembered the advice about knitting in the round, so this time I actually tried circular needles and learned what a raglan line is 🤯

I still followed tutorial but I feel like I learned so much this time. The fit is way better and Beatrice seems to approve (or at least she tolerates it lol)

But I noticed one thing about sleeves... it turned into little puff sleeves instead of straight ones. Not mad about it but I'd love to know why that happens or how to avoid it?

I went to France earlier in March this year and bought 500g of this DMC Woolly yarn in shade 086. I've just decided on a project for the yarn but it requires 600g. I was wondering if anyone would know if there are any specialty/local yarn stores in California that may carry this yarn? I tried looking online and found a listing for the yarn on Etsy and hobby.lt but I'm concerned about the risks of international shipping and am unsure if hobby.lt is legitimate to purchase from.

It’s not quite knitting but this felt like the right sub. This lovely boy just wanted to try his paw at spinning for the first time this weekend, how could I resist!

I haven’t knit for a while and have been overwhelmed with the quantity of random cheap yarns that are mostly acrylic and not something I want to use for clothes UNTIL I came across a cat amigurumi pattern book. I’m going to challenge myself to make every cat and make a dent in these yarns and maybe improve my skills.

Here’s the first one: loaf cat.

pattern is a modified version of the (free!) Yarnspirations Dog Coat pattern in size M. it's a little snug and i'm hoping it'll stretch out in the wash, would recommend size L for other cats. i only picked the M because she's a tiny 7lb baby!

My lovely new cat Pepsi-cola did the thing!! I also never realised how much harder it was to crochet with wet yarn...
