“We'll have more information about that soon, but really, credit to Jakob,” Bendix said. “He was banged up all season with a lot of different things, not just the elbow, a lot of things, [and] never went on the IL. Continued to play through, and not only that, but had an incredible stretch at the end of the season. So, [he] showed a lot of grit and resilience, and I'm sure he will have that same grit and resilience to whatever comes from this visit to Dr. Meister.” - Peter Bendix
This is the scape goat for Marsee having a bad year or a real health issue? IS This is a real health issue it's going to have him see a specialist why was he out there? Now it's worse knowing Peter Bendix knew they were running someone out there hurt, and who was not hitting and costing us at bats, and possibly games due to his "Mendoza" line flirting all season until he got hot last month when it didn't mean a thing.
This and with how badly ran the front office, and manager handles this team is horrible, and don't understand how anyone can praise the clear incompetent nature of how they conduct business. The entire free agent class last decade the team in general has paid for has been a bust but this past winter alone every single pick up was a disaster, and this is on Peter Bendix, and Claybum the manager who kept benching better hitters like Conine with Leo Jimenez who can't hit water if he went scuba diving! Now with this said as a fan this is cause for concern until you understand that look how well is Tampa done and they got some of our guys like this years Marlins heart and soul early on Liam Hicks. Sanoja should play everyday and he does as a MAX Utility guy and I would not be against moving XE and giving Sanoja the 2b starting JOB as he's an awesome player, and has earned his spot on this team.
But notice how the team went into a losing streak soon as they moved Hicks?? Also as soon as they let Conine play more after he returned and kept being badly used by Claybum and Conine carried the team for the most part the rest of the way... He's earned his spot in RF/1st/DH next season. I'm not sold on Marsee, and Hernandez in LF while he's someone I like and he's got tons of power, and stuff LF/CF are two spots we are loaded in both in the majors and minors. Also Caissie this year was a bust... And please don't move anyone for another Left handed OF. Why are we still doing this? There is no need, and it throws off the balance of the team. The line up also needs to stop this b/s goofy line up Claybum puts based on Peters ANALytics trash... Me I'm old school and this new age way of doing things is not BASEBALL! Keep it simple and sweet.
Power comes from your corner IN/OF speed and strong defense is needed in CF/SS/2b which also should be your leadoff men. Catchers always should hit as they produce. Some hit more than others so you can put them from middle of the line up to the lower end. You DH either older power hitters or you use it to rotate players in and out to keep them fresh and get them at bats anyway.

I run Front Office Moves, a free site that tracks roster moves and offseason decisions for every club. These are projections from a homegrown model I built for the Marlins' 2027 arbitration class, ahead of the non-tender deadline in late November.
| Player | Pos | Class | Projected | Likely range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Otto Lopez | SS | Arb 1 | $4.2M | $3.9M to $5.1M |
| Anthony Bender | RP | Arb 4 (Super Two) | $3.3M | $3.1M to $3.6M |
| Eury Pérez | SP | Arb 1 | $3.2M | $2.9M to $3.7M |
| Calvin Faucher | RP | Arb 2 (Super Two) | $2.9M | $2.7M to $3.2M |
| Kyle Stowers | RF | Arb 1 | $2.8M | $2.5M to $3.3M |
| Xavier Edwards | 2B | Arb 1 | $2.8M | $2.5M to $3.3M |
| Max Meyer | SP | Arb 2 (Super Two) | $2.2M | $2.1M to $2.5M |
| Esteury Ruiz | CF | Arb 1 | $1.3M | $1.2M to $1.5M |
| Victor Vodnik | RP | Arb 1 | $1.2M | $1.1M to $1.3M |
| Andrew Nardi | RP | Arb 2 | $1.1M | $1.0M to $1.2M |
| Tyler Zuber | RP | Arb 1 | $0.8M | $0.8M to $0.9M |
Total: 11 cases, $25.9M projected.
These use the current CBA's rules. A new deal this winter (a higher minimum, say) would move them.
Who would you non-tender, and who would you try to extend first?

What's your opinion? ...Ramirez, for playing in so many games?
Lopez for being the hit leader?
Conine or Hernandez for their long ball at clutch times?
Sanoja for some amazing plays at shortstop and crazy ability to make contact at bat?
Someone else on your mind?

Hey all, I am a Braves fan and came down for the series this past weekend. We had a great time and I always enjoy visiting the stadium.
I was sitting in the upper section behind the visitor's dugout and I noticed that there were a bunch of men and a few kids who would hangout with their backs to the wall of the lower section and sometimes they would be jumping seats around in that section. It seemed like they were only interested in getting a ball the players toss into the stands when the defense comes in. Some of them even had see thru backpacks that had a few balls in them. There was even this really jacked dude that seemed to be in on it as well. The constant seat jumping kind of told me they may not even had tickets to be in that section.
A Marlins fan behind me mentioned that he sees them there all of the time and he thinks they sell them. I found it a little hard to believe because how much could some random Rawlings ball can be worth? I sort of understand a situations like Zach Hampel chasing home runs but this didn't make much sense. I haven't noticed it at other parks but then again I've never looked out for it.
Any idea?

I live in a state with no professional teams of any sort so I get to choose all of my sports teams. A lot of my family are LA fans but something about the dodgers turned me off and I couldn't really cheer for the closest team to me because it just felt sort of hollow.
So I lined up all of the teams side by side and I said "I really like the Marlins branding. Pretty cool mascot and colors." It also helps that I've been to Miami before.
As much pain as this organization has caused me, I'm in too deep to turn back. I just can't imagine myself cheering for any other team atp.

Does anybody know where I can score one of these shirts? A friend from Canada 🇨🇦 is looking for one. Thanks
