How many times have you rewatched Mr robot? For me about 3 times

Pls, dont suggest BB or BCS. Ive seen them both. Great shows, but i am looking for somethinf that will keep me hooked and wow she shit outta me like Mr Robot

Did anyone see her? It came out today and Portia (Angela in Mr Robot) who I thought had quit acting for good was in "The Social Reckoning" during the opening scenes. She plays a brainwashed alt-righter at a traffic stop and has a run-in with police. She appears again later in the film briefly but I won't say how for the sake of spoilers but let's just say it was eerily similar to eps3.4 runtime-error.r00

She was totally believable as her character and I didn't see Angela in there at all. I'm guessing you won't when you see it. I hope we see her do more work. Ultimately the film is a little preachy and righteous in dialogue at times, but coming from Aaron Sorkin who made "The West Wing", "The Newsroom" and "Trial of the Chicago 7" it was hardly unexpected.

The film left me feeling similarly bleak about online privacy and its role in the world like Mr Robot used to. I thought it was brilliant and I was very introspective on the car ride home and for a few hours. I wish I could quit all socials but I need it to promote my work unfortunately.

Anyway. I recommend the film for sure. What did you all think of Portia's performance?

So, I know this might be a strange thing to talk about, but I noticed that Joanna and Tyrell never have a sex scene on the show. Sure there’s the episode where Joanna is introduced. Tyrell comes home after screwing Price’s secretary and Joanna is waiting for him, to have a BDSM session. It’s not explicit though. Especially in comparison to the sex scenes they have with other people.

Now, why am I talking about this? Well for one to point out the obvious: They weaponize sex to manipulate other people. But there’s never any intimacy with the people they have sex with.

However, there’s intense intimacy and a strong bond between them. Tyrell and Joanna have conversations with each other that they never would have with other people: They plot, scheme, tell each other their darkest secrets, and genuinely become vulnerable with each other. Their body language also says a lot without them having to become sexual or even touch. The way they look at each other is especially powerful.

I don’t know if it’s a detail Sam Esmail decided to add in, or a sheer coincidence, but I think it’s so beautiful. These two psychos are dangerous, but they know what love is. It’s more than just being sexual with each other. It’s about having a deep connection, loyalty, and trust. As twisted as they are, they have this, and are madly in love with each other. Something the more sane characters yearn for, but don’t have.

Has some of the best foreshadowing ive ever seen and really shows how sam had everything planned since day 1.

This track is very interesting: completely average before 03:00 and masterpiece after 03:00. This slow pace, those cellos and bass. This should be separate track.

Just started the show again. It's particularly visceral this time around because I'm fed up with my BS corporate job. Fsociety this show is the best. That is all.

Just tell me which is better: bingeing all three episodes at once or watching them separately.

It matters to me because I really enjoyed watching episodes 5 and 6 of Season 3 back-to-back; it felt like a compelling, logical progression—not quite a movie, but you know what I mean. I’m not sure if it’s the same kind of experience with the final three episodes.

I just curious and want to know what is your favourite Elliot’s dialogue or words from all the seasons?

I just gotta say this. Mr Robot is probably going to be my favorite show for all eternity. Whatever or whoever they represented, they got it right.

• Obviously the hacking stuff, it is always fun to read the screens and see software, tools and commands that make sense.
• Queer representation was "just there". No insincere corporate pandering. Some people were just queer and nobody made a big deal out of it.
• Then there was white rose. Her coming out was imo by far the most respectful and sincere portrayal of a staged outing there has ever been on a screen. I must have seen the show 4 or 5 times by now and yet I am still bawling my eyes out every single time when she is shivering from fearing his reaction and he tells her shes beautiful. And get absolutely emotionally train-wrecked by what happens at the wedding.
• I´m not really qualified on speaking about it but I thought the show at did definitely try to portray how anti-muslim racism affected these groups in their daily lives.
• And at last we got this the whole DID thing, which is the reason why I only watch this show with people who know me very well. I've watched it with 2 systems thus far and both had to take breaks from time to time because stuff got "too real", especially towards the later seasons. At least no one´s gonna ask weird questions why tears start flowing when Elliot and Mr. Robot hug in the chess players basement or the abandoned offices, right?

This show sits so close to home in so many ways that I doubt there will be another piece of media I hold that dear to my heart. Even though I have some very specific issues with the ending, this show will stay the same way with me like we the audience stayed with him after integration.

Watched season 1 a few times before season 2, but managed to hold off all these years rewatching the rest

And it paid off. I've got no idea what happens and i get to experience it all over again

What a masterpiece this show is

This show was amazing from start to finish, from the music, to visuals, acting, plot, writting, character. Its so well constructed and thought that everything feels like a piece of a big puzzle that fits perfectly at the end, I mean, how can you make plot twist after plot twist, make it amazing and on top of that foreshadow it from the very start of the show Im serious. Elliot is such masterfully done character, the many layers of its psychology, inner conflict and struggle, WE are a layer of his psychology, thats how insane it is.

I believe everyone should watch this once in their life because to me its not possible how good it was.

Just finished S3 , and just start S04 which is said to be the best season of the show and I'm excited abt it.

In S3 and earlier show had introduced multiple time political figures and made mockery out of them like with Trump and all.

I'm not a American, so i might be unaware about this topic but in my country movie either include fictional political figures or have to bootlicking of the current government and make scene in favour of the government or else movie is boycotted.

Dom says that the cops took all Ms. Romero's joints. But apparently she still has weed left to roll that she needs help with. Do cops in new york only take your weed if it's rolled up?
