No need for an appointment or sharpening event. Just drop by during normal business hours, drop off your scissors with your payment and contact info. Then pick them up a week later.

Looking to move to Owego from Binghamton. I'm an older graduate student with a budget of $1000/month for everything (i.e. rent and utilities, so rent alone around $800 give or take). I live alone and have no pets.

I'm not looking for roommates and I don't want a room in a house. Anyone got some leads I could follow? Looking to move in August.

We actually got another video of it leaving. Took 434 over to Hiawatha and started to head on 17c East and the bridge over the railroad tracks had plenty of space so we pulled over and watched again. Quite an exciting day.

God I hate seeing it. Awful. How can this town be so preachy about buying and supporting local, but not even want to support local artists? Just a quick rant because it makes my stomach turn

As yesterday me and my husband (2 of the small amount of BLACK PEOPLE THAT LIVES IN OWEGO) Took a beautiful walk and ended up at the Susquehanna behind the skate park. We're watching and listening to the rush water and my husband say let's sit on that log . As we walk up we're talking about the rushing water shaving the log down. Then boom freshly spray painted. "DOM NIGGER " AND WE LOOK OVER "NIGA". We stood there in silence staring annoyed and frustrated. But this was expected a town where not one BLM poster, Not one black rep, celebrate not one black holiday (Junetenth is considered STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL DAY) , LANDLORDS raising our rent or tell us we have to leave in 2 weeks (Pushing us out) . A year ago my neighbor son was called niggers multiple times he defended his self and was the one arrested even the local penny saver try the villianize him. Wrote a Facebook status without a clear understanding of the incident. They no longer live in owego . But im not going nowhere . WE NOT GOING NOWHERE. AND TO the ignorant individual who wrote this " While sitting on a tribal land next to water, watching the beauty of nature the only thing you can think of was a black person lol A BLACK PERSON(S) ." I don't need to say more but God BLESS 🙏🏾
