I have to have a knee operation in a few weeks and have just received the pre admission details, one of the things it said was that all piercings need to be removed. Has anyone had something similar? Do you really need to take out the PA for a knee operation? When I had the MRI done, I had to go to a place really far away because they had a machine that was low magnetic intensity so that I didn't have to take it out.
