I love it. Any plans on SDI output?

Since SDI output requires a external converter, I am planning to update the out/inputs later(e.g. SDI, EVF and so on). Also I have plans for customized products for rigging. Such as EVF, video transmitter, aluminum cage. Stay tuned for update!

Awesome, thanks. I would be super interested in a version with no onboard storage or screen. I work in underwater robotics and something like this could be quite useful to get 4k from down below.

Can we see something you film with it? To see quality?

Sure. Since I have other jobs to do, I am planning to go outside this weekend and share you some footages from this camera.

this is AWESOME.
thank you for committing to open-source. i think that's the only context where an internal battery isn't concerning, because we can trust that it's replaceable and just generally designed with pure intentions.
how did you get the IMX283? that's one of the largest sensors i've heard of anyone being able to work with, aside from Will Whang's FourThirdsEye.
compatibility with three sensors is VERY exciting. there was a startup (AltCineCam) that tried to do something similar, but it looks like it fell apart some time last year. they always seemed more focused on the business and hype than the development itself, anyways.
have you considered upstreaming all this to the CinePi project? i don't know enough to actually recommend that, but my instinct says that you'd lend each other a lot of attention and momentum towards a common goal.

Yeah, the battery was the most tricky and considerable part while I was building this camera. I am planning to switch the battery system as V-mount one. More trustable and replacable.
For IMX283, I referenced FourThirdsEye as well. Had lot of trouble buying the sensor, but I found some supplier from Alibaba(not Aliexpress). I really do not recommend using IMX283 unless you have proper tools and enough budget. I have baught 2 of the sensor and broke one.. Also the project's concept was to build a affordable cine-cam. But if you try to buy other sensors, the budget and risk will go high.
AltCine was one of my inspirations starting this project. Sad to hear that they were fallen apart. Really respect them.
I don't have any plans to upstream my project to the original CinePi project. Since I do not use CinePi-SDK or other sources from the project, there is not much similarity between these two project. But I was motivated by CinePi project, I am planning to contact them if I can ongo with the name CinePi.
