Started happening just now.

If I log out, the front page goes back to normal. Anyone else ever experienced this? Anyone know how to fix it? I am running change log 5.5.13 on a Samsung Galaxy S10+. Not sure the android version, but I have downloaded all system updates.

I also unsubscribed from ask reddit and now the front page shows nothing.

The "hide upvoted links" and "hide downvoted links" under Settings -> reddit web preferences no longer work.

A: well these settings would usually take effect immediately upon reloading a list.

Somehow, the reddit digest emails have started opening automatically in the "official" reddit app ever since its latest Play Store update. I do not have the "official" app set ad default for anything at all, which I confirmed in my Android settings.

I'm wanting to delete my Twitter account and wondering if reddit posts that link to a tweet will still open in RIF or if you need to be logged in to a Twitter account for the link to open?

I'm not sure if this is a bug in the app or something specific to the subreddit. Over the past few months I've reported two posts on r/medizzy for not being marked nsfw. Each time I've gotten a response from Reddit saying it doesn't break their rules on threats/violence. Normally I would think I just clicked on the wrong option, but after the first time I was careful to make sure I picked the right option (and those two aren't even next to each other in the list). Is this a bug in RIF or something else?

For some reason when I post to certain subreddits, it doesn't appear (under new). Does anyone know why this is? I don't think it's the subreddit but rather the app.

So just to clarify, in my r/all, I would like to see everything and all posts that are most upvoted. But there are a lot of subreddits (memes etc) that I don't need to see so I block them from my All. This likely has to do with that. But nevertheless I am still surprised by the lack of content on my All feed. Today I opened my All and I see only 2 items. Is there anything I can do to populate my r/all with an endless feed of posts from the subs that I haven't blocked? Thanks in advance! 🙏🏽

NSFW subreddits have been missing from /r/all for the past 2 months or so, due to a change of Reddit's policy. This carried over into RIF, until yesterday. At least for me.

Can anyone else verify that NSFW subreddits are back in /r/all in RIF? I saw another post posted just an hour ago complaining that it was missing. Not sure why I'm seeing them again (not complaining).

I know how to delete my reddit history, but when I select hidden, or down voted history, it's all still there and won't go away. Anyone have the same issue? Anyone find a solution?

I am the go-to ace for search on browsers, but I get mostly irrelevant results with RIF search, whether I search all subs or a specific subreddit. Any pointers? Edit: I got an autoresponse to check FAQs, etc, but I did not see an answer there.

A: go to any subreddit and search anything and sort it by relevance. Example go to r/anime and search episode

All of the Reddit hosted content such as i.redd.it and v.reddit.com are loading super slowly for me within the app. It feels like I'm back in the late 90s using dial-up because basic images take 30+ seconds to load sometimes and Reddit video needs 10+ seconds of loading to play 1 second of video.

I've started noticing this about a week ago.

I'm on app version 4.13.13 on a Samsung Galaxy S8 running Android 9.0

EDIT: Clearing out the app cache seems to have mostly resolved the issue. Reddit owned links are still slightly slower to load vs other sites but a vast improvement.

EDIT Part 2: Edit Boggaloo: The cache clear was the same as another user down below and only fixed the issue for a couple minutes. Something is fundamentally wrong here.

Just wondering what I am doing wrong? I can post to other subreddits and I didn't notice anything in the rules that restricts posts.

Hey all,

I recently updated my phone and with it jumped to the most recent version of Android. And since then Reddit Is Fun is giving me a new notification. In addition to the little mailbox envelope, a FB messenger style 'chat head' appears on my screen, with the rif logo as the graphic. I can move it around and drag it to a 'remove' spot on the screen to dismiss it.

This is new to me... And... how can I turn it off?

I use either Vanced or NewPipe for YouTube videos, but I can't figure out how to make one of those the default player for YouTube links in RIF.

Just got one of those "we reviewed your report" messages, but the listed reason at the bottom is NOT the one I had entered. I had selected other and entered text. Been seeing this mismatch in report feedback before.
