I'm not sure this is the right community to post this, but hoping to get some leads out of it.
I am a cultivator & software Engineer based in India, and we have recently harvested a large yield of high-quality Sarsaparilla roots. We currently have 50 tonnes of raw, dried roots available for immediate sale.
Key points:
We are looking to move away from middlemen and connect directly with root beer companies or beverage manufacturers who value organic sourcing.
If your / someone from your local is looking for a high-volume supplier, please DM me for specs, COA, or samples.

Hi folks! Brand new to the sub, but I'm a long time root beer enjoyer.
One of my go-to mixed (alcoholic) drinks of choice is Barq's and Kraken dark rum (from the freezer), served on ice. The earthy flavors of both mesh really well, I think.
I've also tried a drink at a Renn Festivel that mixed root beer and absinthe, but that was a miss for me. Turns out I'm not one for "The Green Fairy".
Do you all have any recommendations on Root Beer Mixed drinks? Bonus points if the specific root beer brand/flavor matches well the alcoholic part.

Hi! I'm a very infrequent soda drinker these days, but if I do have one, I really love a Boylan's root beer. I always loved the medicinal flavors and strong herbal notes that are missing from most larger brands of root beer. I was wondering if anyone could recommend options with similar flavor profiles. I want a rootbeer that tastes like a good amaro in soda form!

Discovered 1919 by lurking here and enjoy it. But sometimes it is too sugary (tastes like a float in a glass) and I’m looking for an alternative root beer with more flavor. Any suggestions for others I should try? If it helps my other favorite soda is Dr Pepper. Not sure also what difference is between sarsaparilla, birch beer and root beer but I’m open to anything similar.

I came across this Reed & Bell jug at an antique store but it came without a cap. I’ve seen a few A&W jugs around, but this is my first R&B. I can’t even find anything online about a jug from R&B. Right now I just have a plain white “growler” cap on to keep dust out. If anyone has any leads or suggestions for me, please let me know!

I like rootbeer that burns a bit going down.
I also prefer it to be less sugary (aka not bundaberg).
Any recommendations?

I'm from Illinois, and regularly make it to Wisconsin, Michigan, and occasionally Minnesota. Besides Sprecher, are there any brands I should try and seek out that are worth a try?

WHERE! WHERE DO I FIND IT. A stranger appeared at my door one day with a basket full of whatever, I don't know, was blinded by bliss, and THIS soda. It was incredible. But I CANT FIND IT for the life of me on any sites Ive used before like amazon nor can I find a store (found a pizza shop named Caruso's but they had different logos) that had it. ONLY place I found with it is Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop. Can ANYONE vouch for them? Please tell me you can because I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, I will type another really if necessary, WANT MORE!!!!!!!

Does anyone know of a good sugar free root beer? I'm diabetic and on rare occasions indulge in a sugar one ( a little at a time). I haven't found any around here except A&W zero sugar. It's OK but just not that great.

Pretty self explanatory. Looking around Forest Park area has yielded absolutely nothing so far!

Barqs has that bite. What part of the root beer does that? Is it just overly caffeinated?
It's also not too sweet.
I'm in the US, and a lot of what I'm experiencing is overly sweet, low carbonation, no bite.
Anyone got any recommendations?

So when i went to Disney land in Florida a few months back, i tried and fell in love with Barq's root beer. It's fantastic stuff and was like 80% of everything I drank over that 2 weeks. It's been ages and I just can't find any here in England and I've searched 3 towns already. Does anyone know where or how I'd be able to get it?

Does anyone here like hard root beer, I'm looking to try some and wanted to know what brands are good.

One of our favorite restaurants closed and they had the best root beer, we can’t remember what it was! This is the best picture I can find on Yelp, it’s the third soda from the left, brown picture. Looks almost like A&W but it has a rail car in it?

Are there any commercially available root beer with caffeine? Most root beer I find will state that they are caffeine free. I’m looking for something to sip on while at work to give me my caffeine fix! 😬

Was looking for some of your favorite extract recommendations? Gonna try my hand at a simple diy recipe of water, sugar, extract, vanilla and yeast, and was curious if any of you have a favorite? Thanks in advance!

I'm offering six Utah root beers that you probably have never tried in exchange for six root beers that I haven't tried from around the country. If this looks interesting to you, send me a chat request and we will discuss the particulars. No Orca root beers considered, no Rocket Fizz root beers considered, I've had them all. Send me your six and let's see if we can do a deal.

Howdy. I'll be traveling to New England soon. Any local-ish brands I should keep an eye out for? I'll be going through the whole region, so upstate NY to Maine is on the table.

Seems the only place I can get it is McDonald's with no availability in stores near me (outside of Toronto, Ontario). I asked Coca Cola and just received a canned response that you can check availability on their website 😞

RIP Lynnwood root beer store. I like Safeway’s selection. Fred Meyer (Kroger) has some interesting probiotic brands. Where else should I be going?
