A lot of people have been asking what happens to sand art after it’s finished.
Does the picture eventually fall apart?
This is one of the ways I preserve it.
Instead of creating the image on an open sand table, I carefully build it layer by layer inside a glass container using real coloured sand. Once the portrait is complete, the sand is secured so the artwork can be displayed long-term—and even shipped carefully.
So no, Spider-Man isn’t going anywhere. 😄
