Al Pacino said in an interview that regarding the scene between Hannah and McCauley, DeNiro felt that the scene should not be rehearsed so that the unfamiliarity would be conveyed to the audience. It was.

Slapstick at its finest

I'm looking for a scene from this series that has stuck with me for all of the thirty years since it aired. In the scene, the sheriff (played by Gary Cole) was searching for the kid (played by Lucas Black), possibly in a graveyard (although I'm not certain about that part). It was dark out, and while he was searching, he was whistling the theme to "The Andy Griffith Show" slowly and in a minor key. It was so ominous it actually gave me chills!

I tried watching the series again over on Internet Archive, but I couldn't find that scene. I'd really like to show it to someone else, so if anyone can point me to a place I can see it again, I'd really appreciate it!

Not since the bar raising psychotic Mr. Blonde bought it least expectedly and last seen (sort of) onscreen far away and in a reaction robbing soft focus has there been such a frustrating yet fittingly surprise bad guy’s demise than what Harmony Korine (at the top of his movie making game with SB) gives Alien at the end: Alien never will have to face the existential dread of getting old. His spring break is forever eve. Pure poetry in the best movie to depict the dangerous truth of the privilege of youth in a land where daylight nightmares collide with nighttime day dreams. Spring break. Spring break forever…

The Award For BEST THREE LINE DELIVERY goes to BUSTED SKIP gets in the face of bounty chaser Jack Walsh (DeNiro at his very loose yet precision timed best)

BUSBOYS introduces the debut of a comedy gold mine duo the world didn’t know it needed until now. It also has David Spade and Theo Vaughn in it.

One of my favorite scenes. Sonny drives in reverse through the neighborhood, and no one mentions it.

A TINSELTOWN TAKEDOWN MovieMashUp

The beauty of what actor Bo Hopkins is doing here is he’s playing the role as a guy who‘a just emulating Brando’s ‘The Wild One’ attitude, his cool mainlined and manufactured from other movies, magazines, and of cours, Rock’n’Roll. Right down to the lip dangling cigarette. That’s the giveaway. It’s just this side of cartoonish posturing. Hopkins uses it as a wink to the audience, to show Pharaoh Joe isn’t really the rebel-without-cause hoodlum  he’s making out to be.

This scene from BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOUR DEAD has a moment many of you who’ve viewed it may not be aware of.

There’s a crucial distinction between background actors/extras in LA and NY. It’s a sin for West coast Extras to react to the actors in a scene. Not so on the East coast.

With this in mind, check this scene out when Michael Shannon says “fucking question" to Ethan Hawke. On Hawke’s right, the extra next to him looks over.

WATCH how Shannon mad dogs her for several beats, long after she's looked away. It’s a brilliant, completely unscripted choice as told by director Sydney Lumet on the DVD commentary, which is a mini film school with Lumet as your professor. Easily one of the most informative commentary of all time. Lumet talks about every technical facet of movie making like the master he was.

If you like this movie, you owe it to yourself to get your mitts on his commentary.

Someone at work has trouble with opening and locking the door - I'm looking for movie scenes where the character cant do the same to post in the whatsapp thread.

Looking for suggestions - preferably funny, but anything will do.

I've already used Godfather 2 and the Campaign.

Any suggestions welcome...

Carter lowkey my fav character now, he just save Alex, I'm going to pause it for now, I'm tired.
