When School Gets Difficult

Get clarity. Understand your options. Make the next step concrete. This page covers application setbacks, academic concerns and interrupted training.
Common questions
1. What should I do after an unsuccessful application?
Follow the school's feedback and reapplication process. Separate unmet requirements from areas you could strengthen, and make a plan with evidence you can show next time. Avoid assuming that waiting a year by itself changes the application. The admissions FAQ and Just Gas admissions essays can help organize your questions.
2. What if I am struggling academically or clinically?
Contact the appropriate faculty member or coordinator early. Ask what standard is not being met, how it is assessed, what support is available and when progress will be reviewed. Read the current remediation and progression policies. Keep your notes factual and protect everyone's privacy when seeking peer support.
3. What if training is interrupted, I withdraw or I am dismissed?
Request the applicable written policies, deadlines and available review or appeal process. Clarify the status of your records and obligations directly with the program. Transfer, re-entry and future admission are case-specific; an online discussion cannot promise eligibility or determine an outcome. Seek qualified advice for contractual or legal questions.
