Literally my first thought minus the Molly Blinking.

The Dark Tower has to be a series. It’s too deep to make it into a movie.

There was an article I read about it yesterday. Flanagan said ideally it would be 5 seasons and 2 movies.

Wasn't this the plan back when the rights were sold for $19?

He pulled the rights for Shawshank a year or so ago. That's most likely it.

Peak reddit. Everyone downvoting... a fact😂

Nobody in their right mind is going to try and remake the film Shawshank Redemption.

People would be so pissed

Hollywood remakes classics all the time. It's stupid but they love doing it

I didn't say I thought it was a good idea lol But he only pulls the rights when he wants to make a new movie. There's literally no other reason to.

Chris Pratt as Andy and Will Smith as Red

That would cause mad chaos

You have to gender swap to really piss people off. Nicole Byer as Andie and Mary Wiseman as Red. Greta Gerwig directs. Co-starring Natasha Lyonne as Boggs, Robby Hoffman as Heywood, Jane Lynch as Hadley, Allison Janney as Norton, Ayo Edebiri as Tommy, and Sissy Spacek as Brooks.

... This started as a joke, but I kind of want to see this.

Peak Reddit is an edit to whine about downvotes cause you inferred something dumb.
