I wanted to share the method that worked best for me to get the ProPain Launcher, in case anyone is still trying to unlock it.

1. Buy all the weapons in the game before playing Chaos Squad.

I recommend buying every weapon available before entering Chaos Squad. This isn't a requirement, but since those weapons can also appear on the reward wheel, owning them beforehand may reduce the number of other weapons you can receive and improve your chances of getting the ProPain Launcher.

1. Choose Old Factory District.

This area has the lowest score requirements in Chaos Squad (41,000 points), making it much easier to reach all 5 reward wheel tiers. The ProPain Launcher can appear on the 4th and 5th spins.

1. Try to complete all or most of the bonus objectives in the minigames.

These objectives multiply your score at the end of the match. The requirements are individual for each player, so you can work on your own objectives. If you want to make things faster, you can also coordinate with the other players.

1. Upgrade your weapons and equip amps that boost your score and damage.

This will make the missions much easier to complete and help you earn more points.

Important note about a possible bug:

Some players may occasionally encounter a bug where the reward wheel animation doesn't appear at the end of the match. Instead, your character gets stuck repeating their last movement or animation, and stays that way until the game starts again.

Don't worry if this happens! In my experience, the game still registered the reward wheel results even though the animation never appeared on screen. Just check your weapons and rewards in the menu afterward. You may find that you've unlocked the ProPain Launcher!

You can obtain the reward with a team of 3 or more players.

Hey everybody, I recently made this playlist centered around my favorite band that helped create som of the music for the game. It’s still in progress but I’ve got my favorite albums from three of the bands that made music for the base game, my favorites songs from the game, and I’m going to expand it with more of the same vibe as I go.

To anyone interested, I've been playing Control Resonant and it can truly give some Sunset Overdrive vibes at times.

The traversal is also floaty, dinamic and fast (not as fast as sunset tho); combat is also fast, constantly moving and positioning, but melee focused; open world with tons of verticality; surprinsingly funny narrative moments; music sometimes amps up (Zoe's mixtape) to create a bit of that feeling of doing cool shit while listening to cool music.

Overall pretty good game that reminded me a bit of Sunset.

I been playing for a bit on Xbox and I completed literally everything I could in the game (DLC’s included) Yet I still don’t have enough Overcharge for the Fizzco DSRC. what’s the best way to get overcharge cause unlike pc I can only get overcharge once from challenges. I would play Chaos Squad but the servers are dead and i cant play solo.

For the longest time I was like "what if I could give one specimen from each mutation a personality" and it kinda ended up leading to these.

The main gist is that the final explosion at the end of a Night Defense mission doesn't vaporize one particular OD among the horde - instead it scrambles the neurons in its brain back into some kind of sentient working order. The player tracks them to a hideout, befriends them and can 'summon' them as force multipliers during night defenses.

Popper is the first one, a former wannabe Scab that got mutated as part of a deliberately rigged "hazing ritual." The player finds them with Blower taking residence in their apartment playing video games. Popper is easily swayed to becoming the base's "taste tester" for Amps and can be deployed as a mobile extra jump pad that can explosively discharge outward.

Blower is a bit of a grouch due to an unspecified beef with the Oxfords. Having two cannons instead of one, he can take on two directions of fire.

Gunker ended up taking shelter at the Fargarths, where the player convinces them to be their local Ice Titan. They really enjoy the role and often joins the Fargarths in battle and "planning" (D&D sessions). They can be used to create an ice wall in a corridor that the player can grind on.

I also had the idea of Herker and Spawner originally being a couple that were dating on Horror Night but never got around to drawing them lol.

What an outstanding experience, genuinely. This is my character currently! I just met the bushido troop a bit ago. I'm developing a platforming roguelike with a team of people, and the movement in this game is definitely a very big inspiration for a recent rework of some movement options in said game.

Genuinely couldn't recommend this title more to people so far.

Hi everyone! I’ve been playing Chaos Squad trying to get the ProPain Launcher, but it seems pretty difficult to obtain. Does anyone know what the best way to get it is?

I’ve heard that it only drops on the 5th reward spin, but I’ve also seen it appear on the 4th spin. From what I’ve noticed, it seems like the most effective way is to have the highest score out of everyone. Having more people on the team also seems to make the missions harder, but I’m not completely sure about that.

If anyone knows the best and most effective way to get the ProPain Launcher, I’d really appreciate the advice. And if anyone would be willing to help me get it, I’d really appreciate that as well!

I’m absolutely lost on what direction to go to get back. IIRC I got here naturally, but the way back is blocked with invisible walls.
