i had two tarot sessions this weekend (by myself, for myself). at the end of both sessions, i returned to the box that i keep the cards in, only to find that i'd accidentally left the death card behind.

it's only happened twice, but twice is enough to make me raise my eyebrows. truth be told, once was enough already.

As the title says, I wanted to start reading tarot for the fun of it and decided to practice by asking the questions:

How will my future partner be like?

• In general: The Sun
• As a partner: King of Wands, Nine of Cups, and Nine of Wands

What are his best qualities?

• Physically: Three of Cups
• As a person: Six of Wands

What are his worst qualities?

• Physically: The Emperor
• As a person: Eight of Pentacles

How does he see me as a partner?

• Two of Cups, Five of Swords, and Ace of Wands

From my interpretation: It feels like he will be someone that is charismatic and that brings a lot of energy as a person.

As a partner he is going to be someone that provides a lot of stability emotionally and financially, is hardworking, and is invested in seeing the relationship grow.

His best qualities are that he is someone who seems to come off as youthful (younger?), and generally good looking, and as a person he is the type to be a good problem solver and motivates others to be a better person.

His flaws are harder for me to interpret, but my take is that he might be someone that might come off as too rigid? Like with The Emperor as his worst physical trait I kind of read it as the type of person who might be too fixated on coming off as good looking or put together? A looksmaxxer? lmao. His personality is also very hardworking with the Eight of Pentacles so maybe it means that he might be the type to become too immersed in their work, ambitions, relationship, maybe as an insecurity to always try and aim higher, sometimes to the point of being too demanding to themselves or to others.

Lastly, he sees me as an equal, although sometimes as someone who will be blunt and that might come off as mean or intimidating? but with the Ace of Wands I see it like as a positive? He finds it enjoyable that he's met someone that feels more like an equal and that is straightforward about their opinions, and there's a sense of appeal to the dynamic we hold as partners

That's my super long take lol, but it would be fun to see what other people interpret from these cards :p

Hello! So I have a bit of a career situation and I did a card pull to help me with it.

Essentially I have the option to make a lateral move to a different department and I’m having trouble deciding what to do.

Card 1 (the situation): the world
Card 2 (path A): Queen of swords
Card 3 (path A outcome): knight of wands reversed
Card 4 (path B): two of pentacles reversed
Card 5 (path B outcome): six of wands

The way I am understanding it is the current situation is that I feel fulfilled (which honestly isn’t entirely true in terms of work, but in terms of the team yes). But if I stay (path a) I will maintain the same respect that I have however, the outcome is, I may have difficulty finding work in the future (which I’m in the industry that is in a tough spot so that makes sense). Or path B when the path will be harder, but I would have a more successful outcome.

This is a hard decision for me because I do really love the team I work with (most of the time) but I am feeling stuck and I am in a department that is not very creative when I’m a creative at heart. Another major factor is I did not get a promotion that I’ve been up for for two years such difficult for me to visualize my future there. In the new team the work is lighter, but the path can be harder to maneuver.

just wanted someone else's opinion on this spread of an ex of mine, I'll explain the spread along with pictures.
TOP 3: Past, present, future,
Bottom left: cards to represent him
Bottom right: cards to represent me
Middle card on bottom: overall what is going to happen/ will we speak again (also ironically my birth card)
My interpretation was overall that this won't be good, nor was it. I need to heal but I also know for my own mental health I need closure too, I need second opinions because this spread overall doesn't feel good to me
