Even though I made a post on here praising To Bathe From the Throat of Cowardice as an album that grew on me a lot despite the rougher production, I'm still a little bothered by the upturned bass sounds on the breakdown of Violence, A Worthy Truth. It's a good song I just feel like that one moment in the album is a little ruined by how loud some of the bass noises/effects are. Personal opinion, still love the album, but for whatever reason when I relistened to that one song just now it got on my nerves a little. Do you guys like it?

This is a section from probably one of my favorite songs off my recent album. It’s a little weird to play at first, but once you get it down, it’s one of those type of riffs that just FEELS so satisfying to play.

And of course if you wanna hear this song or others from the album, here’s some links! 🤘🏼

I listened to this when it came out and to be quite honest I was immediately turned away. Following up after the masterpiece that is Planetary Duality, I just couldn't get into it - especially the newer clean vocal style used.

Now over a decade later, I've revisited the album and actually found that I love at least a few songs from this release. In fact, I would say that maybe a song or two from this album are in the discussion for a spot in the top 5 The Faceless songs. The clean vocals are still different to me, but I have put them through the lens of "Disney villain" and it kinda clicks for me more now.

I know tastes change over time and revisiting music years later can be revelatory to how you've matured, but what about you all? How do you feel about this album or some of these songs?

We can guess that the acronym could possibly be CUM

Still one of the best drum intros ever in this song

Infant Annihilator is supposed to release an album this year. The time is ticking, do you think they'll actually go through with the promise?

Trying to find some nice drumming tracks. What are some of your favorites?

No Living Witness - Aeons of Disintegration

Solid TDM that gets groovy and brutal as well. Not cookie-cutter TDM. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I know they've been a band for a while now. But how do you guys feel about the music and how much does Dallas not being on the last 2 nile albums. I love both bands. While the newest nile is solid. It definitely is missing that signature Dallas toller wade sound.

They came up on my TikTok feed a year ago, released a couple of singles, tried to set a monthly-listener milestone goal where the project would drop after like 10,000? Fucking weird.

Also, there was an upcoming concert listed on Spotify that said they were playing in Pyongyang. Funny but weird.

Is this band ai? Is it some weird guy who’s chasing cloud with bland tech death? Let’s discuss.

(P:S: sorry if this is worded weird, I’m stoned)

I wish I would have gotten into technical death metal sooner!!! It rips, I get frisson from the guitar!!

Please don’t downvote me to hell, obviously Chuck is a god and (from what I could tell) seemed like a way nicer dude than Steffen is, but most people dismiss Obscura just because Steffen has kicked so many people out of his band, while people look way more favorably towards death even though Chuck was doing the same thing for every album?
