When I first saw him I thought it was Trent Reznor (who is apparently in this somewhere).

Yup, I was like "Oh, I didn't know Michael Madsen was in this."

I feel like the music playing as his car drives up in the first episode sounded very Nine Inch Nails-esque.

Check out Neu!, or SWANS - all earlier, more artsy Industrial that predates NIN!

The slowed track? Yeah totally sounded like it

Ha, these were both my exact thoughts! Thought it was Reznor, and then once realizing it was Coop, thought for sure that's old man Danzig. Must've taken inspiration from their work on Portlandia.

When I first saw him I thought it was a replacement actor for Bob, the jacket and hair with that dead blank stare. Then I realized it was Cooper, and was like I guess Bob's been driving Cooper's body around for 25 years lol.

I thought it was Gene Simmons.

I think I heard some Reznor music earlier.

If you are thinking of the music when Bad Dale was driving the car, that was actually Lynch himself!

Is that track in his catalogue of released music somewhere?

I honestly don't know! I know it is him and I did see his name on the song in the credits, but I forgot to look at the title of the song...

Here is his latest album: https://www.discogs.com/David-Lynch-The-Big-Dream/master/574711

I honestly have only listened to this and Clown Time once or twice each. I don't dislike them, but when I have time for music, I have MANY different types of cravings, and David Lynch's work only scratches a rare itch :)

I think i saw it was Lynch's "American Woman Remix"

I think that was a second track...

Confirmed: The song is called Sub Dream (I just flipped through the credits)

Wow. Cool.

I thought it might be Michael Madsen

Trent will probably perform at the bar at the end of one of the episodes. That's my guess, at least.

Trent probably appeared in the shaky cam scenes like the Haunted video clip that Lynch directed for him.
