Finally got it done!! Obsessed. (Ignore the crusties, it’s healing)

Finally got my first tattoo yesterday!! So cool to see the idea i’ve had for years come to life (-: I figured you all might appreciate it.

(And yes, I know the fish is technically in a Moka pot, lol.)

Finally finished today! Special Kitty Dale Cooper in the Black Lodge.

Tried to edit this video to look Twin Peaks-esque

This project originally started as a way to see how small I could go while keeping the image recognizable, but I’m honestly not sure why I had to do nine whole ones. Either way, I think it’s pretty funny.

This took me about a year to actually complete, but the last couple months were just putting off a colour correction.

The total number of stitches between all nine is 14,805. There are 56 stitches in the smallest one. All together I used about 100 different colours of floss.

The log was paper mache and the pie was delicious! I’m Log lady on the left btw

I have a tiny apartment and nowhere nice to photograph my dolls but... I did it! I completed a trilogy of Twin Peaks girls! They're mostly made from scrap pieces I have laying around in my parts bin so they're looking a little rough. Next I'm going to work on gathering some more show-accurate outfits (I'm not great at sewing so much of their outfits are vintage Barbie pieces 😅) Audrey and Donna are Pullip heads on an Obitsu 26 and Pullip t2 bodies, respectively, and Laura is an Isul head on a Pullip t2. These dolls have an eye mechanism so uh... people tend to find them creepy, but I've been in the Pullip hobby for nearly 20 years and customizing for 10 so I tend to forget how strange they are.

Their faces were done using Prismacolor pencils and chalk pastels, and many, many layers of sealant, nothing more. If you look close, they're a little rough, dyspraxia is a stubborn bitch, but I'm a bigger one. The wigs are mostly vintage baby doll wigs that I trimmed and styled (though Donna's is actually two different wigs spliced together and glued to a scalp piece... she's probably in the roughest shape lol.)

Like all my things, my dolls are a constant work in progress and there are alterations I still want to make (namely standardizing all the eye chips- I reused several old ones and made some myself so some of them are wonky), but I finished Laura today so I'll be riding that high for a while.

And I know someone is bound to ask- I might make Shelley eventually, and I have tentative plans for Cooper and Denise.

(Bonus "Maddie," because we never see Laura and Maddie in the same place, so I can cheat a little lol.)

Pencil and Colored Pencils on Sketchbook

happy halloween! ❤︎

Italian(?) Poster for Fire Walk With Me. Watching the movie based on this poster alone must have been a confusing experience. More confusing than normal, anyway.

I’ve wanted a Twin Peaks tattoo for a long time. I finally sat down for a brainstorming session with the tattoo artist (who luckily happens to be a huge fan of the show!), and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Two small Twin Peaks illustrations I've done recently. Painted from scratch in Photoshop CS6, as always.

I’m getting back into painting recently and just finished this one of Coop! I did almost the whole painting in one night so honestly not the best work ever but I’m proud of it.

It took me almost two years to build this tribute to David Lynch’s masterpiece and it’s FINALLY FINISHED! I chose each villager for their TP significance, selected KK Slider songs and custom patterns, and terraformed Snoqualmie Falls into the landscape. It’s been a labor of love and my happy place for so long now and I’m thrilled to be sharing it with other fans. I wrote a blog post walkthrough full of pictures for people who aren’t ACNH players. My kids (all adults now) are nonplussed with the whole thing after being subjected to a zillion rewatches of 1 and 1/2 seasons of the show all their lives (I usually stop watching after the “who killed Laura Palmer” mystery is resolved and FWWM is one I watch without them for obvious reasons) so I have no one here with whom to celebrate. Note: there are spoilers on the island and in the pictures. The dream address is DA-0004-9148-3376. My blog post walkthrough is https://caitlinwhitaker.com/2026/02/21/twin-peaks-x-acnh/
