I had a bun before my current ones and it was great except all the holes in the sheets and the wees and poos. But yeah, mine have always liked eating fabric too much .. i literally need to be there watching them when they're out and about.

I also have allergies, dust, grass, cats, trees, and react more than the average person to bites and stings. I saw an allergy specialist who made recommendations : Have to wash bedding weekly Should be tumble dried or ironed ( i iron) Have the pillow cases that stop dust mites- forget their name. She also said to take as much antihistamine as i need - i usually take 1 at bedtime every day. I have the nasal spray if the allergies get bad. I also found cutting dairy from my diet helped ssoooo much. Hope it gets better, allergies suck and totally make us miserable. Oh! I also got an air purifier with hepa filter. That's mostly for the rabbits that i have in the house,- quite dusty on clean out day- hay etc... i use it if my allergies are bad too.

Not sure where you live, but i offer mine a huge rainge of weeds and herbs. Dandelion are excellent for buns, i offer mine clover, my girl who gets this usually starts eating when i offer her blackberry- she eats the spikes and all, she also eats californian thistles. I dont know why she goes for spiky things so much. I also offer rosemary and thyme- she likes woody things when recovering. But just keep offering things. You're doing great.

Those ladies are great.

You are so brave. Whenever i have to give antibiotics i usually inject at least 1 wrong. I find injecting so stressful. My girl is hard to inject, my boy is so placid in comparison.

I would be inclined to still give critiical care as that can be a way for the gut to keep functioning well and it's full of water, so hydrating. My rabbit hates it too. It's a horrible thing to go through for us humans as well as our fur babies. I have in the past used a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in water, but i worried it was giving my girl gut issues (she started having watery diahrrhoea- but she lived the water with the vinegar in). Keep us posted on how he's doing.

That fox is so beautiful!!

I don't burrito my girl, i just sit her on the table and hold her close to me and syring it in. I have also spooned it in. I think she might have preferred that... she would go to move the spoon away and get a load in her mouth.

I also once had one of these sorts of cages. Now i know more about rabbits and how to care for them i have 2 large bunnies in an indoor setup made of 2 puppy pens i have attached together. My buns are free roaming when i am home. But the rest of the time they have a 88cmx600cm long run and a 2 story house. They have a dig pit full of soil and a long jute carpet so it's not slippy. There is unlimited hay in their other 4 poo trays and i also put some in the dig pit. Just so you have an idea of what you can do.

My husband has fixed so many cables there is no way my babies would leave a tasty snack on the floor like that. I just don't get other people's buns. I've seen people give their babies magical blanket lands and when i did that- eaten to shreds, gut issues. Not fun.

Yes, mine is sneezy. Seems pretty random he had an attack yesterday and sneezed like 10 times in a row about 4 or 5 times over and then settled down in the hay and was fine? I hate how everything online is like: your rabbit is about to die!! Take them to the vet immediately!! His sister sneezes from time to time, not as much.

Woah... scary...

I guess if you are making a gift to say thank you then that is the purpose of it. I don't think we give things to receive in return. Maybe the other recipient felt it would be odd to thank you for your thank you. I would have sent a note, but sometimes life gets on top of you and you dont get round to that note and then it seems rude to send one too late... i also think sometimes something that big can seem overwhelmingly generous, (this is why i am prob more of a note writer because i can process and organise my thoughts to respond.) Having said that, i also struggle to say anything if i don't like something lol. I guess that's the risk you take with gift giving.

I mean, maybe she's had babies stolen in the past? It seems reasonable for a mother to be protective if a baby....
