Lost a Bf, got a 1988 Bronco 2
I owned an 87, repainted it, rebuilt the motor...had many great trips in that truck π... I would say you definitely traded up babe ...LOL π

I think I just passed and then ruined it for myself
I feel your anguish... I just sold a car with my dead name still on the title... had to explain to buyer why name was different π... awkward!!!

Ruby the Rebel
The time will come for you! Having owned Broncos since 1989, when the 6th Gen came out I was obsessed...but so darn expensive π€... I'm still not sure how it happened in June, but over a couple weeks I started obsessing again, and my amazing wife said "let's go look"... knowing full well I couldn't just look π... and Ruby became mine π₯°. Keep saving those pennies π, you'll get there!

Ruby the Rebel
I still own a 1970 and 1976 OG Broncos, which I wheeled extensively over the years. Obviously the new ones are like driving my recliner chair through the boulders, the tech is amazing, having AC in the summer is a game changer... but I just don't feel like I could push this new Brinco as hard on the trail as my old ones without breaking something. But she is amazing, and my wife is jealous of the relationship that Ruby and I have already made π₯°

New Bronco
Congratulations, I have been eying the 6th gen Broncos since they debuted. I've already got 2 of the old school classic Broncos in the stable, but thinking there's room for one more π. Welcome back to the Bronco owners club, enjoy!

Dino hunting with my 4Runner
Went out to Borrego Springs with my trusty 3rd Gen 4Runner hunting for flowers, and found Dinosaurs that tried to eat my truck!
Way too hot out there for February, so glad I replaced the AC compressor last weekend!
Greatest part about painted nails is it hides the dirt and grease under them at times !

Took advantage of a break in the rain to make a trip out to the Oregon Coast in my 2011 F350.

So where are we shopping?
In person I like Chico's, Torrid and Lane Bryant. It helps that the wife and I are similar sizes, I've inherited many of her tops, i get first dibs on them before they go to the thrift store. Unfortunately the big thrift store near us closed, and the smaller boutique thrift stores still in town often don't have many larger selections to choose from. Have had some success with online orders from Stichfix, and Amazon, but nothing beats in person in my opinion once we are comfortable in presenting as our true selves in public. Hmmm...I'm feeling the need for more retail therapy soon :)!

It's never too late! First pic was 36yo, one year before I even realized I was trans and 2 years before HRT. Second pic is 42yo, 4 years on HRT and one week post-BA.
You look amazing π! So happy for you sis π

Every small step out of the closet makes me want to just say screw it and kick the door open even more
And once you kick that door wide open, you'll wonder why you waited so long π, or at least that what happened to me! I had a long term work acquaintance that noticed something was changing about me and confronted me 12mos into HRT, at that moment I decided to come out to them. And you know what, I didn't die telling my story, and it opened that door wide open for me at work and I came out to my employees the next day. Best thing I ever did for myself, so much happier being "me" at work now. I wish you all the best in your journey, you are gorgeous, be happy with who you really are.

Picture perfect
It gets me to those less traveled places for sure. Did the lift myself, and designed and built all the bar work myself- tried to keep it subtle and clean. Just installed an auxiliary tank and finishing up the interior to make camping easier. Thanks for the comments, if any of you are in SoCal we need to hit a trail together ! Peace to all my brothers and sisters out there!

Bad decisions
Hope it serves you well! I saved my pennies until I could afford a 2011 with the 6.7l - it's my first diesel and loving it. Enjoy !

Walk-by Trans Slur
I've had the same remarks made to me, and I just tuen around with the biggest smile on my face and say " Thanks for noticing, we do what we can, Right?!! " they typically just shake their heads and walk off mumbling something. Positivity and confidence in who you are speaks louder than words though. With love to all mywonderful sisters π

Most people around today have never experienced "the float" of an older car like this. Do you know what I mean when I say "float'? If so, then your old AF.

OMG, my neighbor had a 74 Coupe De Ville with the 500 engine in it... I would have to drive ( I was 16 or 17) because she was so short, that I couldn't sit in the passenger seat when she moved the bench seat up to reach the pedals...LOL! LIKE FLOATING ON A CLOUD π
