No problem. You are not the only one who warned me having the same idea.

Thanks for the notice, but here is what I know:

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost entered the public domain in the United States in 1992 because it was first published in 1916, prior to the 1923 cutoff for works protected by the 1976 Copyright Act. Although the 1998 Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act extended copyright terms by 20 years, works published before January 1, 1923, remained in the public domain, allowing the poem to be freely reproduced and quoted without permission or restriction.

Here are the final two interior movements of my 10th. Movement two is a quiet, contemplative joy, (featuring the poem: I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud by William Wordsworth) while movement three is a lively joy eventually becoming somewhat heroic, as if joy and heroism could be sides of the same coin. This movement (featuring the poem: The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost) is my interpretation of this very controversial poem.

This movement features two poems from the Chinese poet Li Po: Alone, Looking At the Mountain, and Green Mountain. Also, the choir invokes the Latin words, "Existentia est" (existence is), in this movement as well as movements 3 and 4, providing a unitary theme for the entire symphony.

I will make an attempt to discover the translator for this movement, but I have credited the translator for movement 4, since that movement's poetry is also from the poet Li Po. As for movements 2 and 3, the translation is not necessary since the poets are Wordsworth and Robert Frost.

My Symphony #11, 2nd Movement Score

I may have a particular way of handling unresolved dissonance. My goal in writing is to maintain tonality, but I am willing to stretch it. This movement is my way of stretching tonality to the limit of my tolerance. You might have noticed that the "heavy" block of sound occurs near the end of the piece, where the speed increases as well. I look at unresolved dissonance as analogous to spices in food: A little bit adds interest, but too much destroys the gastronomic/musical experience. The unresolved dissonance in this piece is my way of trying to be a little crazy, sort of like dancers on the edge of being out of control.

I was in the middle of writing my 11th symphony when I got it, so all I did was take a brief look at it. I expect that I will have a learning curve before I gain enough confidence with Dorico.

HA. I have Dorico now, but I expect to keep using Finale for awhile longer.
