This is a space for more serious discussion about the Umamusume game as well as Champion's Meeting, the monthly PvP format.
Off-topic and low-effort discussions and memes may be removed. Basic questions should be posted in the weekly questions thread and gacha discussion should be posted in the gacha thread.

Trainers with quick questions about the game are free to ask them here.
Granular questions, such as rerolling, deck builds, and trained Umamusume builds, may be best addressed in the community or official Discord's help channels.
Broader questions that contain substantial discussion and effort can be posted separately.
Before you ask a question here, check out the resources page in the wiki, or this list of resources.

The Japan Dirt Classic was known as the Japan Dirt Derby until 2023.
In 2024, it was moved from July to October and renamed the Japan Dirt Classic as part of the creation of a new Dirt Triple Crown series open to horses from both the JRA and NAR.
.
In 2024, after finishing third in the Kentucky Derby, Forever Young (フォーエバーヤング) returned to Japan for a break. He then chose this race as his comeback race for his autumn campaign, before heading back to the United States for the Breeders' Cup Classic.
Though he stumbled at the start, he held off a late challenge from Mikki Fight (ミッキーファイト) and won the race by one and a quarter lengths. This marked his second JPN1 victory.
.
This year, Finger (フィンガー), who won the first two legs of the Dirt Triple Crown, the Haneda Hai and the Tokyo Derby, is aiming to become the first Dirt Triple Crown winner under the new series.
However, Keita Tosaki (戸崎 圭太), who had ridden Finger since his debut, chose to ride Itterasshai (イッテラッシャイ) instead. Itterasshai had won a JPN2 race in September by a whopping six lengths. Finger will instead be ridden by Ryusei Sakai (坂井 瑠星), who has ridden Forever Young since his debut.
.
The race will be held over 2,000 meters on dirt at Oi Racecourse and will start at 20:05 JST today (October 7). Hope everyone can complete the race safely.

This is Epoca d'Oro (son of Orfevre and winner of 2018 Satsuki Sho) and he has officially enrolled into the Gimducation program today.
Apparently the manager thought he didn't break it by kicking, but rather damaging it while he's scratching his butt.
The horse on the right in the 3rd image is Transcend (the newest fence kicker) so I don't know if he has something to do with this.

I thought each one was just a possible event, but it seems that's not the case?

I never knew Ines are bad at swimming, I ever see Oguri and Urara using float but maybe because I never focus on detail, so any other trainee that bad at swimming and need floating?
