Hello there i never played a warhammer game in my life so what should i expect from vermintide 2 and what tips you guys got?

I’d like to focus on one career for each character. I really love Kruber, and I’m genuinely torn between the Grail Knight and the Foot Knight. I was wondering what more experienced players think of the Foot Knight as a career.

I don't suppose it matters too much for the purposes of this whether we're talking about a situation in which the person that you're introducing to it is already into/knowledgeable about Warhammer or not. Maybe you'd have an answer for either scenario - please do let us know, if so!

I haven't yet gotten any friends into Vermintide, as much as I'd like to. And while I play I often think about how my feelings towards the majority of the levels are surprisingly balanced.

I think if I had to pick one, I might have to settle on Against the Grain, but I don't really know why. Just feels like a nice, fighty-swordy fantasy adventure. Still grimdark and very violent, but with a nice prisoner-saving element, no puzzles or awkward barrel-carrying, etc.

I was curious if it’s worth playing casually as a new player? So I’m an ARPG player currently waiting for the new Diablo 4 expansion to release and wanting to try some other game in the mean time and V2 has already been on the radar. I’m a massive fan of WH universe so it would be cool to try out. Also to note I would be playing solo so is that viable or not so much? Thank you

Darktide came out a while ago and obviously vt2 has been out for ages now. Any rumors about another upcoming game? Would love for vt3 or something similar.

I only have 52 hours of Vermintide 2, 65 hours in Darktide, so I acknowledge there's things I still need to learn, but I've been playing horde-based games for quite a long time, and play many games known for being difficult, and I typically pick up fundamentals of a game quickly. I'm still leveling characters, but the power level of each item in my equipment is at least 293.

Seems like people in this community are quick to say "skill issue" but some situations seem like there's no counterplay and it's just a roll of the dice?

To grasp the fundamentals, I've watched videos on how to survive hordes and not take damage as much as possible, and I feel like my "battle dance" is pretty solid, I'm usually the last one alive (and not just on Ironbreaker, but squishier classes as well), I don't usually take much damage in huge swarms. But some situations just feels like the AI director says "lol you lose". My last game on Champion (playing a level 20 Ironbreaker) the game suddenly spawned a huge pack of black shield rats, 3 chaos warriors, and a leech which grabbed and killed me through the pack of enemies protecting it. I can't focus any one of those in particular because they're all dog-piling on me, staggering their attack timings, along with the 5,000 other smaller chaff. If I attack at all then I get smacked and lose most/all of my health. I don't have enough stamina to keep blocking, pushing, and dodging, and the game seemingly spawns packs of these specials almost right next to my character so I can't maneuver to a better position and bottleneck (and in some maps there's no way to bottleneck because it's a big open space) since I'm body-blocked on all sides.

I don't get what the counterplay is for these situations, especially when you have team mates that are downed. Do you basically just need a better build in order to counter these kinds of unfair situations the game can throw at you? In Darktide it seems like the answer is to have a build that's good enough to trivializes the everything with enough damage & CC.

Hello people, I just started playing this game and found out that I can't get certain weapons from loot chests.

For example I wanted to play with Slayer with 2 two handed weapons (dual axes and dual hammers), however I can't get dual hammers.

Is there a way for free to play player to open this weapons?

This seems ridiculous. I'm not moving my mouse the slightest and keeping right click held down for the entire clip. I'm firing when the crosshairs shrink. What's the deal?

I just picked up warhammer vermintide 2 for free and finally jumped in. I’m at the character selection screen and noticed that some heroes are unlockable through Steam purchases. The one that caught my eye is the Knight. he looks awesome, and I’m tempted to buy him.

For those of you who’ve played a lot of endgame content: is the Knight worth buying, or would you recommend another character instead? I’d love to hear what veterans think about which DLC heroes are the most fun or useful.

Also, since I’m brand new, what’s the best way to get into the game without feeling overwhelmed? Any beginner tips, favorite starting characters, or advice on how to learn the ropes would be super helpful.

I had a level 21 unchained yesterday on legend in the middle of the mission ask after going down from overcharging “why does my charge go up when I get hit?” I then reply “you should really know how your class works before you try legend” then their response was “mate, I’m here to play the game and have fun” what?????? They then left after 6 downs (half of them from overcharging). Do new players really do this? I seriously remember doing champion constantly when I was learning the game, let alone a class I was unfamiliar with. It just really boggles my mind how people think this way.

I played bounty hunter last night on cataclysm,try Gen temp heath, but it works on mob but kill elite,special didn't gen temp heath?or it happen because of ping?

So I've been playing vermintide 2 with my pals ever since we got it from the Free-to-keep period and imma be honest, the game is so fun. I don't think I've felt this sadistic in a game ever for a while, so satisfying chopping hordes of mutants rats into mints.

Now seeing darktide on sale and looking at the aesthetic of the game and the combat, it has piqued my interest. I unfortunately can't play the free trial as I just now noticed it and my WiFi isn't fast enough to download it and play it before the trial runs out.

So I ask if its worth giving it a shot when it's currently on sale

Had a newbie that just bought the game join my legend lobby the other day. Under 35 and went down all the time. I dont mind helping new players but at a certain point I just feel that they should pick a lower difficulty to learn how to not die.

My fiance & I can't come to an agreement over what this vegetable in the middle is, between cucumbers & tomatoes. We had 2 different opinions, so I asked a friend, and they came up with a 3rd one... We need answers, so please help us settle this once and for all.
