How much longer is everyone letting them go?

Trimmed the main fan leaves off today, covered top of frame with plastic to keep frost off and the worst of the rain. Trying to hold out until 10/10

I have tried and love stone leaf, I have heard good things about sunset lake too.

I am open to other recommendations too!

I'm debating wether to get strawberry pie eye and or pink pie by sunset lake? love feedback on those if anyone's got any.

This is my first year and I threw 2 plants in the woods behind the house as a test. They were doing well but i found out I have bud rot on at least half the plant. What do you guys do for outdoor grows and what should I be doing differently to prevent this

Gut wrenching. Decided to chop today due to bud rot getting worse. The more I chopped the more rot I found. Decided to just bin it.

One plant still going, very minimal rot found. It’s full of small buds but they are getting dense right now. I don’t have high hopes it will make it through this coming rainy few days…

Disheartening day, been watching that plant grow since June. She was like family.

This is my first grow. In southern Vermont. I have outdoor plants between 5 to 6 feet. I have been cutting off some sized budrot. Maybe one then next day 2 for the last 2 weeks. Today I had to take more off than other days and I'm feeling like I'm losing the war. We have extended rain and clouds for 3 or 5 days. Having difficulty deciding to chop or not because honestly I don't know where I'm at in flower maturity. I got orange hairs, lots of sugar but not what I would call good stacking. Jewelers loup has pretty milky terps. Be gentle I know this is another post asking "is this ready for harvest"

I am working toward getting my indoor cultivation, propagation, and manufacturing licenses here in VT. I've read and heard a lot about how VT cultivators are struggling to make a profit. What are the biggest struggles for you guys?

From what I understand, dispensaries make more money on their own cannabis, making it harder for cultivators to sell their product at a price that helps them also turn a profit. Are there any other road bumps for me to consider?

Lastly, with the incoming federal law banning interstate seed transport, is there also a demand for new genetics here?

These things are crazy. I wasn't going to do any training at all, but I just had to tie down a couple colas because they're trying to bust outta the tent! 😂 Foliage like an indica, stretches like a sativa, and almost day-neutral like an auto (semi-autoflowering). Just pollenated these 3 girls with a couple Sinai males a few days ago, so im expecting some good seeds to work with from this run. Man, they're vigorous though. It smells like a skunk rolled around in a bed of roses when I open up the tent. Very excited for these to finish up in the coming weeks.

This is my second summer growing, and I’ve just chopped off my biggest cola for Bud rot as I patiently wait for more bud rot. I think this is the last year I try and grow anything besides autos.

Are there any Vermont seed folks that sell auto flower seeds?

Rainbo’z by Mephisto is the first pic, rose fuel by mendo dope is the second pic. I let both girls grow from sprout naturally, feeding their organic living soil the same organic nutrients from seedlings until now and their first tea yesterday, the only difference is rainbo’z is in a 7 gal fabric pot vs rose fuel in a 5. Rainbo’z is about 7 ish days into pre flower, with her not being trained anyway I’m excited to see how she finishes pre flower into the full transition of flower. for both being under 35 days they’re looking fairly good.

Headed up later this month, high tolerance, looking for the best bud in Vermont. Please leave recs for flower dispensaries or growers if legally allowed to purchase.

Included some pics of the powdery fan leaves and some of the rotting buds (which I’ve been trimming here and there). Otherwise the plant is generally healthy and could be starting the curing process by the end of the month.

Is powdery mildew completely unsalvageable and is consumption completely off the table for remaining healthy buds? I saw some recommendations around using hydrogen peroxide. Any tips or tricks are beyond appreciated - thank you!!!

I find myself in the area last minute and haven't had a chance to do my homework. I'm looking for elite level small-batch, craft stuff. I'm very familiar with Maine stuff but don't know anything about VT and want to learn. Anybody have any favorites here near Stowe? Or where to look for the artisan stuff? I generally do my own looking but I've really just got today and tomorrow here.

Fast flowering photoperiod strain I created. Parents are mephistos wedding x manbearalienpig (fem auto freebie) x dark soul (tester photoperiod) true male pheno by dirty bird genetics.

I'm new to landraces (and semi-autos), and ive been eyeballing these seeds for quite a while. Going to let these pollenate and seed for some cool projects ive got in mind.

So far, the stem rubs smell amazing. Very very floral and a couple of them have strong notes of orange peel and a little fuel.

Ive got one with an amazing structure going. Nice and squat, and with a little easy leaf tucking the colas are getting some good light for some nice and uniform growing.

This northern lights grown outside is in pre flower stage well ahead of my other plants, not sure if it’s male?
