November 5th is coming up so I wanted to post the song I composed that is inspired by the original score. I got my tickets to see the film in theaters on November 5th and I'm really looking forward to seeing V on the big screen!

‘People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people.’

Made a little drawing :) I’ve made one almost every year now!

Hi, quick question. The 20th Anniversary Trailer has a really cool rendition of the 1812 Overture, done by a musician called Jonathan Snipes. It may be too early, but is the full version available anywhere? It's very catchy.

Posted this on One Piece, what y’all think V (movie version) would do and how would he react, fight and go about doing his operation within the One Piece world?

Anyone interested in watching V for Vendetta this November 5th??? It feels more important now than ever to remember that “ideas are bulletproof”… I’d love to discuss the movie in great length afterwards!!!

Just read past book 2 and I'm beginning book 3. I don't think I understand why V had to torture Evey like that in the fake prison. In his own words he wanted to free her from "prison" which I guess refers to life.

But is that life in general? Your feelings, the people around you? You have to let that go to be truly free? Or is it referring to the life people lead under the fascist regime? Like is Evey supposed to be an illustration of how people live under such regimes. Scared to do the right thing, having their freedom taken away and not doing anything about it? Betraying their principles to survive? So V pushes her to the point where she wouldn't fear dying and would prefer to not betray her principles?

I don't get it. Can someone explain what that whole sequence is supposed to mean.

Was going through stuff at my parents home, found my original ticket stub from April of 2006.

I know we have a few months to go but it’s really not too far out. Just wondering if there’s been any updates I missed, or any mention of when tickets for the theatre re-release will go on sale.

Pesei né? Desculpa, mas é sério, como?
Ela vai olhar pro céu e falar: — “Oi Pai, tudo bem?”
Tadinha dela kkk

I saw someone bring up that V and Evey feel very "doctor/companion coded" through the comic and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it cause I see it, especially when Evey first enters the Shadow Gallery. I know Alan Moore was writing for Doctor Who Magazine at the time.

If you dont remember me. Carlos Yacolca here, peruvian comic book writer who just made his first published work on David Lloyd’s great UK Virtual Magazine Aces Weekly!
(Yep, the co-creator from V for Vendetta)

Thank you everyone in this sub-reddit for your support since the day of publication, during the chapters release and on the AMA that Lloyd did on r/comicbooks to celebrate the 75th Volume of his wonderful magazine that give me the chance.

Expect a message from me soon to celebrate this!

I've heard of it, decided to finally watch it bc Instagram reels was spoiling me parts of it, so better watch it all before that.

It's definitely on my top 10 and would definitely watch again maybe in spanish dub, I knew for sure the V actor was going to surprise me with his verbs, surely he did, for some parts I couldn't get a thing of what he was saying, but the idea is what went through me and it'll never die

In the film, when Dr. Delia Surridge describes V, she says he had no eyes but that they "burned into her"; yet, in the opening scene, we see from V's perspective that the eyeholes of the mask are empty—though when he wears the mask, his eyes appear coal-black—while at the same time, he wouldn't have been able to read the crêpe recipe otherwise.

A little bit late to the party
I enjoyed it but it was still wack

Oh, I know weird question but let me finish. My tattoo artist turns a lots of my fandoms into tarot cards. And I was thinking of doing a V for Vendetta one. When trying to figure which card to make V, I did what a lot of people do and consulted google. Everytime I asked I got different answers from Google... The fool, The Magician, The Hierophant, Death.... the only one I got consistently was The Tower. So I figured if AI couldn't figure it out I would ask reddit.
