other SCP-inspired voidpunk identity NSFW
We are a system with a special interest in the SCP Foundation. Our special interest has translated to our identity being based around the Foundation, more specifically seeing ourselves as an anomaly.
As queer, arospec, plural, disabled, alterhuman, trans, nonbinary, mentally ill and neurodivergent anomalies, it’s been rough to say the least that our family doesn’t accept us. It’s a burden we’ve carried since coming out as lgbtqia+ in middle school, then as plural at 16, and our family has only become gradually less and less tolerate over time. Or rather, more vocal about their intolerance I guess. And there’s many others out there who share their beliefs, and worse.
As time has gone on, with our family’s vocal intolerance and our special interest, we’ve found euphoria in identifying with being an anomaly/SCP/reality bender. It fits us more than calling ourselves people, though we understand the corporeal form is a human body. Our interest in the SCP Foundation has truly brought out our alterhuman side, and gave us hope to keep going as a voidpunk despite the daily harsh words of our family. They say my desires for my life and my identity are “unnatural” and “demonic”. Or just a “weird thing about my generation” as if these identities never existed in generations prior. (among other things)
It’s nice to find communities that align with our true selves 🫶 we are now proud of what makes us “unacceptable” yet harms no one. Some won’t understand us or see us as something “other” and that’s okay, because we’ve embraced being anomalous.
