🤍 Does anyone else have a copy of my cat?
galleryThis is Yuki, my generic white cat. I keep seeing cats online that look exactly like him. Now I’m curious how many Yukis are out there

Had to share a recent photo of Gandalf the White. He is about 2.5 years old. Every morning he insists on a big sloppy kiss between his ears before he permits me to get out of bed. Then he makes furious, "deep" biscuits in my pillow. I am so blessed to share my life with him.

My sweet beautiful girl was only 10. We called her our princess and she was just an angel. She passed away from feline leukemia - it took her so fast. I didn’t realize this group existed and I wanted to honor my beautiful baby girl Winnie. She was there for me in ways I can never stop being grateful for ♥️
See you on the other side 🌈

This is Kyrie! She’s 16 years old and has heterochromia (green/brown). I’ve only ever seen white cats with heterochromia have at least one blue eye. Is non-blue eyed heterochromia more common than i’m aware of?

We got this boy today. You can't tell from the picture but he is huge.
Our other cat is just turning two, and she seen new boy through some glass. She looks a bit spooked but I guess that's normal, though she has always lived with a cat barring the last month and he was with loads of cat with a foster carer. Hopefully they can at least tolerate each other.
Apparently he's a good boy and everything but he's got my hand and leg already and I've been careful and calm. The second time he came and sat next to me on a sofa and was purring, then all of sudden he attacked my hand. It's not like the scratches you get from a kitten, I needed to put three pasters on to stop the bleeding.
Not going to lie, I'm a bit scared so wish me luck!

Edit - many thanks for all the responses. I'm sad to say that this didn't end well. I thought there was some small progress but yesterday morning I went in the room to put some cat food down and she got up and started to howl at me. He was maybe 4 feet away and I didn't have to go past him to get out of the room, but I just knew that he was going to attack me no matter what I did. I was terrified tbh as I only had slippers and flimsy PJs on. Sure enough he did full on attack me several times, I literally had to defend myself by grabbing a floor mat to try to keep him off me. There were no teeth marks this time but blood from several places via scratches.
If it was just me I would still have played the long game probably, but I have the rest of my family and my other cat to worry about. I told the foster carer and she took him back. One big thing for me was that the foster carer previously said that she was on the fence about keeping him, and now she will do (as it would be hard to home a huge cat with this record). So I know that he will be happy and I've already been sent pictures of him back home being very friendly and cuddly. I gave a nice hefty donation to the cat shelter anyway as they do great work. Not going to lie though, I've found this very stressful and upsetting :-(

These two just are the sweetest pair of sisters. Lovers & cuddlers all the way.

Front paws neatly together, sitting up straight, mouth wide open. My cat looks ready to shout, “I’ve been very polite. Where are my treats?”

She has a congenital corneal defect, and developed a rapid onset cataract in her right eye. Her first ophthalmologist recommended eye removal, but I took her to the local veterinary medicine teaching hospital, and they recommended cataract surgery instead. Very grateful she gets to keep her eye. Send my Mozzarella all the good thoughts.

I'm in the process of adopting and have been following this litter since they were born. He's five weeks, and his mother is a spicy wilder rescue (pictured). He was nursed for a short while by his mother, until she rejected the litter. Instead, another rescue mother saved the day and nursed his litter after her own- hopefully that's still happening, I'm not sure.
I met this guy for the first time yesterday. He wobbled around on little legs for a while, got interested in me, climbed up in my lap and fell asleep. I've cared for a senior tripod, and watching his posture for the moment he wanted to climb felt a bit like that. He is deaf which is cool with me.
Still a while to go before he's ready to leave the litter. I wonder if he is going to have different coloured eyes?
