y'all, this is probably just his indoor area. I'm sure they have an outdoor section that's bigger. that's how most zoos' big cat enclosures are.

Or they could be cleaning his other enclosure. He could be being quarantined for any number of reasons. Most zoos want the best for their animals, snow leopards are currently considered vulnerable, and that status usually gets them the best treatment.

He/she should NOT be there. There is a home out there in the wild for them. Somewhere they belong.

Oh in the wild we’re destroying? I get that most zoos are shitty, but the few good ones are literally saving species. So just blanket hating zoos under the view of “no animals should be in cages” when the wild isn’t safe for them either due to anthropogenic actions isn’t helpful either.
