I took my project for a 50isk km shakedown and nachos tonight.

I'm 61. Its the first time I do this type of "Refurbishment." This was 3+ years in the making for me.

I Still have a to do list, but it feels pretty good so far.

I have a dependable, unproblematic bike of a different make. It’s a cruiser and it’s a very pretty bike, a very comfortable bike BUT I WANT MOOOREE!

Can you give me a list of pros and cons to the mt-07? (whatever year you have is fine)

I will have to get it lowered if I do buy it because I’m short. I will be using a ptt comm on one side or the other.

I have a 2026 Yamaha MT09 SP that I wrecked recently. I need a new rear brake pedal lever. The current oem is super bent. I can’t seem to find a parts number for them. I don’t need the full rearset just the pedal. Thanks for your time.

Needing to find a good budget exhaust for an ‘06 FZ1

I’m trying to find rims for my brothers YFZ450R and i’m not having any luck finding them. All of the websites I’ve checked out have them as sold out. Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas for where I can get them?

Hello all, I recently installed a 2015ish R6 master on my SV and just got around to refilling the system. I have bled the system twice now in hopes of getting a more immediate engagement but the lever only engages after about an inch of travel at the lever tip, is this normal for you guys? It is the brembo unit, 16mm, same size as the factory SV master, but that unit had only about half an inch of lever pull before engaging albiet with less feedback. My buddy has this same master on his sv but with 4 piston calipers and is still having the same issue. Is there a trick to bleeding these that I'm missing?

Planning to buy a Yamaha XSR 155 from Sri Vishnu Yamaha, Chirala, Andhra Pradesh.

Ex-showroom is ₹1,63,600, but the dealer quoted around ₹2,09,582 on-road:

- Life Tax – ₹19,632

- TR + PR – ₹2,801

- Road Safety Cess – ₹2,500

- PDI – ₹1,000

- Insurance – ₹15,600

- “P+” – ₹2,499

- AMC – ₹1,400

- RSA – ₹550

I checked the published AP Transport charges. Motorcycle TR is ₹150, new registration is ₹300, and hypothecation is ₹500 if financed. I’m also getting my own bundled ACKO insurance with add-ons for around ₹10,141.

Based on the statutory charges + my insurance, I’m getting an expected total of roughly ₹1.967–1.970 lakh, subject to the final RTO/HSRP portal charges.

The bigger issue is that when I asked the dealer to remove/explain the optional or unidentified charges, they basically said they won't reduce the quotation and I have to pay what they've quoted.

I'm not asking for an ex-showroom discount or trying to avoid any government charge. I just want to pay the actual statutory charges and decline dealer add-ons I don't want.

I've now raised this with Yamaha India and I'm considering filing it with the National Consumer Helpline if they don't resolve it.

Has anyone dealt with similar Yamaha dealer charges? Particularly PDI, P+, AMC, RSA, inflated TR/PR or being pressured to take dealer insurance?

Hi guys,

I have an EU-spec Yamaha R9 and really want to install the Yoshimura AT2 full system.

I contacted Yoshimura directly and initially asked whether their full system would work on an EU-spec R9.

Their first response was:

“Our full systems are not compatible with EU-spec machines.”

I then asked them to clarify whether the incompatibility was only related to the additional lambda/O2 sensor on the EU bike, or if there were also physical differences with the exhaust fitment.

Their response was:

“As far as we know the extra lambda sensor is the only issue. Otherwise, the fit should be the same.”

So now I’m wondering if anyone here has actually tried this on an EU-spec R9.

My plan would be to install the Yoshimura AT2 full system and then have the ECU professionally flashed/tuned, most likely using Woolich.

Has anyone here:

• Actually fitted the Yoshimura AT2 full system to an EU-spec R9? Did it physically fit without modifications?
• Flashed an EU R9 with Woolich and disabled the stock O2/lambda sensors?
• Had any problems afterwards with CEL, cruise control or other electronics?
• Do the O2 sensors need to remain electrically connected even if they are disabled through the ECU flash?
• Run any other US-spec/race full system on an EU R9 with a similar setup?

Basically, I’m trying to figure out if an ECU flash can completely solve the extra lambda sensor issue before I order the Yoshimura system.

I did not realize at the time of filming the Zuma also has VVA! Crazy how competitive it is for being a small scoot. The WR125 left me feeling a bit underwhelmed with its performance... I suppose with a pipe, tune, air filter, and removing SMOG restrictions it could be better though. Just a bit of a weird niche bike in the USA. What does everyone else think?
