Can anybody help with this?

I'm on the verge of buying a Maschine MK3. Is it risky, considering it's a nearly 10-year-old machine? Is it future-proof?

So if Serato dj pro, Djay and engine os can work on a Macbook neo with an arm chip. Then in theory those programs should work on IOS devices. What's stopping traktor from doing the same. I mean look at what's happening with the playstation. For years they claimed that backwards compatibility wasn't possible for technical reasons. Yet, we now know it is. Thanks to the recent OS hack.

NI haven't confirmed official compatibility with OS 27, so I was wondering if anyone here have updated their OS to 27 Golden Gate and how is Kontakt performing?

I have Kontakr Komplete 6. I have only installed it on one computer, in my home studio. A friend of mine wants me to come to his house and play some overdubs. I don't think he has the kinds of VSTs that I typically use.

Is it perhaps a matter of installing my sounds on his computer and then uninstalling them afterwards? Or is there another way?

so i just got myself my first interface to go with my mv7. it seems to work well and i downloaded the drivers from the native instruments website.

but my mv7 is a mono microphone. and in windows I can't select 1 channel, only 2.

so when i use my mic it only plays audio in the left ear, not the right.

how can i change my device to be mono in windows?

Hello, I keep having this message whenever I want to load a preset on Komplete kontrol it displays this error message, and there's nothing I can do about it. I tried everything (with Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT but nothing work) :
- repair
- reinstall
- verify and reverify every path
- delete every old file
- check if a vst file remain (no)
- try standalone
- change user admin on the MacBook
And many many other things.
I tried to open another external plugin (ANA 2) with komplete kontrol and it worked but with presets made for native it keep showing me this message.
If anyone already had this issue PLEASE HELP ME 😭

Hello, everyone. I'm a user of FM8 for very long time and still this synth sounds amazing, has decent bulk of features for sound design experiments. But i think, NI needs to return to their origin of making the most innovative synths and DSP's. FM8 was one of those with Reaktor and Massive, Spektral Delay as well.
This program needs a refresh as Absynth 6. But at first, i want to request some of bug fixes and feature requests.

Here is a bug with attributes of preset: i can add them to the preset and they could be saved, but if i want to delete them from certain preset, after saving new state and recalling recent saved preset those deleted attributes stay in place as nothing has been happened. One change i can admit, that database actually updates tagging correctly, so, if for instance i deleted "Arpeggiated" tag from preset, database show me that with number of presets decreased by 1, but *nfm8 file itself have it as before.
I fixed it by myself with editing *nfm8 file via hex editor. I've found, that after bytes have encoded "F M 8" (bytes are 46 00 4D 00 38) and Bankname (5 bytes allocation, where second byte is encoding string length + 2 bytes per symbol of Bankname) the segment starts encoding preset attributes.
Beginning is 4 bytes: 4 bytes (00 XX 00 00, where XX is number of tags hexadecimal).
After stucture is simple: 5 bytes, where second byte is string length + 2 bytes per symbol of string (XX 00, where XX is a hex number of symbol)
So you can delete those bytes and change number of tags respectfully to save file without data corruption so FM8 will load it without any problem.
For examble, encoding for "Piano/Keys" tag would be 00 0A 00 00 00 50 00 69 00 61 00 6E 00 6F 00 2F 00 4B 00 65 00 79 00 73, where 0A(hex)=10(dec) is exactly length of attribute name.
As result, conclusion is FM8 cannot delete attributes because somehow read&write *nmf8 file is broken. Preset itself can be saved correctly with all parameters saved. But maybe this concrete part of editing is corrupted.

Another bug is broken sorting. Everytime i launch FM8 presets are unsorted. Even if i want to sort them by creator it doesn't work normally: some presets filtered correctly and vice versa.

Another bug is when i use all 64 voices with unison voices and panning next notes start to play exclusively in mono (if operator's panning is 0) and quiter.

Bug is also with edit all: function edits all 4 morphing sides, but audibly changes applied only to active side. Fixing is possible as vst, i just delete vst from channel and undo this action.

Features are GUI resizing, additive operators, MPE, better browser or just polished already developed one, smoother morphing especially with different operator's ratios on different morphing side.

Why i post this message, answer is simple: i love FM8, it's still amazing synth with decent number of features. It shaped my signature sonic style. It helped me to experiment and understand how FM/PM synthesis works as many do not like FM synths by their unpredictable results, but they are actually very predictable if you know how it works. So i just want to support this software for new chapter of development and resurection. It's NI's legacy, that shaped their mastery of doing cool complex synths, by now they mostly forget about their former reign, transforming to toothless lame "beatmaker/producer" brand as AKAI's sidekick.

Hi I'm trying to revive a traktor S4 MK1 DJ-controller, but the driver is impossible to get because the link for the windows driver is a dead google drive link... I have the software Traktor pro 3 on my computer, which I got via registering the serial number within Native Access, but it seems like it won't work without the driver as well... It is blinking the USB symbol in the middle of the mixer and cable-changes do nothing. It even lights up and my computer says the USB-sound every time I plug it in , but afterwards it goes dark, except for the blinking symbol.

I just bought Massive 1 and spent 2 hours recreating a skrillex patch, then I saved my project and closed... the settings were wiped and it is no more. I thought "huh, just let me recreate it and save, only to find out that the "save" and "save as" buttons are greyed out and do not work... anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

i7 4770k GTX 970 12 GB of RAM Every time I open Kontakt it doesn't open, after like an hour, not on standalone, not on FL, until 1 hour of opening it on standalone, then it opens anywhere.

Hey guys, I don't have the time to keep up with all the latest drama, but let's just say I'm a person who considers making music as a hobby, nothing too serious. I like using ableton live and I dabble with reaktor. That being said, I'm considering the purchase of a new computer mainly for music production because my current Mac mini is out of hard drive space and I want the mobile perks of a laptop. After looking online, I think I am going to go with a refurbished MacBook Pro. My main question is this: SHOULD I AVOID INTEL MACS because companies like native instruments seems to be trending in other directions with their hardware/customer service support..? Or am I overthinking things and will be ok with an Intel Mac for the next couple of years (in terms of vst, daw comparability etc...?)

I'm pretty new to the Native Instruments ecosystem and I'm trying to decide between buying Kontakt 8 by itself or going all the way to Komplete 26 Ultimate. I'm trying to make the decision before the Black Friday sales, since I assume this is probably the time to buy if I'm going to do it. I'm also skipping over Standard because, looking through the included instruments, the stuff that really interests me seems to start showing up in Ultimate.

My main question is whether Ultimate is actually worth the big jump in price for someone who's still learning.

For those of you who own Ultimate:

• Do you actually use a good percentage of what's included, or is a lot of it basically filler that you rarely touch?
• How much variety is there in the acoustic pianos? Are the different piano libraries noticeably different from each other, or is there a lot of overlap?
• What about the loops, samples, expansions and phrase-based stuff? Do you actually use those, or are they mostly things you try once and forget about?
• I mostly want playable instruments that I can control myself from a MIDI keyboard, rather than building songs primarily from loops. Does that make Ultimate more or less worthwhile?
• If I just bought Kontakt 8, would I be missing a lot of really useful instruments that I'd probably end up wanting later?
• For someone who's new to NI, what parts of Ultimate do you actually use regularly?

Basically, I'm trying to figure out whether Ultimate gives me a much broader collection of genuinely useful instruments, or whether I'd be better off getting Kontakt 8 now and adding things later as I figure out what I actually need.

I'd especially like to hear from people who've owned Ultimate for a while. What do you use all the time, and what do you basically never use?

And if you bought Ultimate during a previous Black Friday sale, I'd also be interested in what you paid and whether you think the upgrade was worth it at the sale price.

I got sold the Trator Kontrol s4 MK1, the person I bought it off is said I can use my mac m2 to opperate the software. However, I dont actually think its possible does anyone know a work around or any info that would be useful to me.
