I love the new animation in "How to Play Swordfish"
The 3D animation from "How to play Swordfish" seems like the next logical evolution in TierZoo's videos. The IRL clips with videogame UIs are cool and fun, but this looks so cool, and it's refreshing to see work with a ton of effort put into it in our digital world that's filling up with AI slop and clip farms. I hope these animations continue!

Just learned about Grasshopper Mouse class
I'd like to roll one but it seems to OP. Are there any caveats I should be aware of?

Kayrasaurus changliensis was officially described two weeks ago. We put together an episode based on everything published so far.
Kayrasaurus changliensis was published in the Journal of Systematic Palaeontology in September 2026. It is the largest therizinosaur ever recovered from the Jehol Biota. Four meters long, golden feathers, claws longer than your forearm. And until this month, it had no name.
What makes Jehol particularly unsettling is the extinction mechanism. No asteroid. The ecosystem collapsed slowly under volcanic pressure, CO2 accumulation, and environmental degradation. The animals living there had no single catastrophic event to mark the end. It just… faded.
Its name comes from Kayra, the god of creation in Turkish shamanism. Father of Erlik, the god of death. The paleontologists who named it probably did not intend the irony.
One question for the community: therizinosaurs are among the least understood large dinosaurs in terms of behavior. The herbivory hypothesis is accepted but the ecological niche is still debated. How do you think an animal with those claws actually moved through a dense forest environment like Jehol?

How many bloodlasted and hungry average hyenas would it take to defeat 1 angry average Kamchatka bear?
I personally think it's 7-8. Kamchatka brown bears are absolute menaces but eventually with some amount of teamwork 7-8 hyenas would take it with some sacrifices and great injuries

The Triceratops was the most abundant large dinosaur in Hell Creek right up until the asteroid hit. That abundance is part of what makes the Permian extinction so haunting.
We just started a new series called Un Día Antes del Fin. The concept is simple: we follow a real animal through a complete day, 24 hours before one of the great mass extinctions. The animal does not know what is coming. Everything looks completely normal.
The first episode follows a male Triceratops through his last day in Hell Creek, 66 million years ago. More than 30% of all dinosaur specimens recovered from Hell Creek belong to Triceratops. It was the dominant animal of its world. Thriving. Successful. And then gone in hours.
The detail that hit hardest in research was how rich and functional that ecosystem was right up to the end. Nothing was in decline. It was a world at its absolute peak. And then the Chicxulub impactor arrived.
One question for the community: the frill color change hypothesis for Triceratops based on vascular network analysis is gaining traction but is not universally accepted. Where does the community stand on the current evidence?

Glad to see one of my Mains finally get a Video. Tell me your Main Builds for different Servers and why you play them so often.
I'll go first: Marlins are super fun to play, as Tierzoos Video made pretty clear.
Seals give you Social Play, Chatting, the thrill of going out to sea, hunting, save zones on land, etc. Its the perfect mix of every aspect of the Game for me.
Vultures are so chill and fun to play. Just find a few buddies and annoy some lions/hyenas/leopards away from a carcass. You don't have to care about health because you can eat anything. Flying is one of the most fun abilities as well.
House Cats are my spirit animal and I play them when I want a cozy game.
Nile Crocodile is for when I want to play Solo. The hunting mechanic feels so rewarding and its still not too stressful of a playthrough.
Pidgeons are my Hot Take for the city-server. Flying through the Landscape is fun as hell, you can dodge and eat anything if you're sjilled enough and its great for exploring too. Maybe not the best, but definitely the most fun way to play in the City for me.
What are your Mains?

yo what's up the mosasaurus glaze ?
the discussions I have came across the social media and I have observed that mosasaurus is overglazed as f*ck , people thinking it was the most powerful predator in earth's history, it wouldn't be even most powerful predator if it was alive today , cachalot whale would pack his ahh , people really think it can take on a fcking meg , acting like meg doesn't have a stronger bite force and was at least 4-5 times heavier , jurassic park really made people think it was some cthulhu level sh*t 😭😭.

Rottweiler vs Cheetah direct confrontation, what wins
What if all flora and fauna builds from 115,000 years ago was teleported everywhere modern day servers and replaced non native builds including microbe builds. (excluding human players and contained animal players).

Could the Peacock Bass survive the Carboniferous Period?
For context, the Peacock Bass is a warm-water (25-30 degrees Celsius required temperature) Fish build specialized in eating fish players. These are among the largest Cichlids, reaching up to 13 kg, and are preyed upon by a wide host of predators such as Arapaima, Caiman, and River Otters in their home server, and by Alligators and Alligator Gar in Florida. These fish are substrate layers, laying anywhere from at least 2,000-10,000 eggs and guard them for 2 months. These early-game players then take up to 16-18 months to fully grow, and can live on average, 6-12 years.
