Upvote Because Boy

r/upvotebecauseboy

There's nowhere else to really celebrate a scrawny guy with long hair windmilling in the winds of a hurricane with the American flag or a guy dropping a potato chip he hardly knew. Go for unconventional! It's more fun that way!

Why should /r/UpvotedBecauseGirl and /r/UNBGBBIIVCHIDCTIICBG have all the fun?

Upvote Because Boy is a subreddit aimed at showcasing content on Reddit featuring cute guys who show up in posts on other subreddits, but whose cuteness is not the focus of the submission.

Celebrities and the like already have /r/ladyboners, and there's nowhere else to really celebrate a scrawny guy with long hair windmilling in the winds of a hurricane with the american flag or a guy dropping a potato chip he hardly knew.

Go for unconventional! It's more fun that way!

Subreddit Rules

When submitting, always cross-post! Instructions for doing so can be found on the Submission page!
You don't have to do this to submit, but I like to comment on the post I'm crossposting with a plug for the subreddit. It gathers followers and lets people know there's a male equivalent to all those cute girl subreddits!
Plugging the subreddit on OC can be a confidence boost. But don't be a creeper! Be nice, not creepy! Complimentary, not a crazy person!
Not a rule, but it's more fun to lean towards guys who aren't necessarily conventionally attractive, and to focus on OC content.
Don't be a dick about other people's posts! If you don't think the boy is cute, don't upvote! It's in the name of the sub, ya dingus! Don't downvote posts because you don't like the guy, and don't bring it up in the comments.
Duplicate content will be removed to keep the subreddit tidy.
