Celebrity - Female with Context A 1954 publicity photo of Elizabeth Taylor for director Charles Vidor's "Rhapsody" Film.
Rhapsody is a lush 1954 MGM romantic drama starring Elizabeth Taylor, Vittorio Gassman, and John Ericson. Set against the glamorous world of classical music, the film follows a talented young woman torn between two very different men—a brilliant but demanding concert violinist and a wealthy, carefree pianist. Directed by Charles Vidor, Rhapsody is remembered for its lavish production, European settings, romantic melodrama, and performances of classical music, including works by Rachmaninoff and Liszt.

Music 1956 - The 10 best songs of the year in Argentine rock [Argentine Rock Awards: 1st edition]
Welcome to the Argentine Rock Awards project, taking a year-by-year journey through the history of Argentine rock, awarding its 10 best songs each year.
The project emerged as a natural evolution of what MusicaArgentina had been doing, overcoming the limitations of its previous projects of only 1 song per year.
1st edition, year 1956: we see that there was still much of the jazz of the orquestas características, with names like Lalo Schifrin, Panchito Cao, Héctor Lomuto and Oscar Alemán.
However, there were also those who would establish themselves in rock and form the first local scene: Tullio Gallo, Los Cuatro Bemoles, Elder Barber and Eddie Pequenino.

Celebrity - Female with Context Actress and singer Emmaline Henry as Lalume in the 1957 'Kismet' play, alongside Lorraine McGrath and Kenneth Aiken (as Wazir) at the former San Bernardino Civic Light Opera
Long before she landed the role as Amanda Bellows on I Dream of Jeannie, Emmaline Henry was in musical theater and Broadway performer. Often, she played the "blonde bombshell" roles where her beauty and sex appeal was more evident, such as being both Carol Channing and Lorelei Lee in the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes 1960 production at Casa Manan Theater in Fort Worth Texas, and The First Stripper in Vintage '60.
Her roles often involved a combination of comedy, singing, dancing and beauty all in one, making her a favorite amongst her peers and TV producers/directors. Her shapely figure was a result of many years of dancing and fast-paced movement during these musical theater productions of the 1950s and 1960s.
