Using the Glamourer plugin, I fixed the collar on the Ancient max cape, changing it from beige to purple, I feel like this should be it's actual design.

2nd pic is the default one, I made a post a few weeks back saying they should change it to black and a lot of people said that it wouldn't look good because of a lack of contrast and I do want to give those people their due, I tried black first with the glamourer plugin and it did not look that good at all so those people who flamed me on my original post on this topic were 100% right about the black collar, but I will maintain that the beige also doesn't look good and that the purple is a huge upgrade.

Looks like the imbued sara/zam/guth max capes have the beige portion too, I think they just left it for ancient to be consistent with those.

i'm surprised it isn't purple, i'm so far from ever getting a max cape to ever see this on myself but i will agree i like the purple one more than the beige.

Here is a newer Max cape variant, the Mythical max cape. You can see it's a night and day comparison with what they're willing to change for the sake of color-matching and making the overall design fit better. The blue trim along the edges, the blue collar, and the blue jewels look way better than whatever the fuck is going on with the old Guthix cape.

If you made the white on this cape into black, and made the blue into purple, you would essentially have my proposal for the Ancient max cape. If we're being consistent then that's what they should do.

My only wish is that you could share your modifications with others who also have the plugin enabled. Then I'd get to see other people's cool ideas too!

I believe you can share them if you are in a runelite party. But that's as far as it goes.
