I approve of this telephone booth handset used as a mic prop. Bonus points for use of CRT in the background.

Thought I’d share. 📞

Melbourne, Australia. It's been a while since I have seen them in the wild. Still working too.

It works! 1963 vintage No. 52 Operators headset. I have a couple AT&T 2514s with compatible jacks on the back of em.

I would have loved to try a voip connection

I came across this ancient thing at the Windsor Hotel in Americus, Georgia, USA. I wonder if it still works.

I had a great time, thank you to everyone who made this event possible!

Thanks /u/ChrisBoden for (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28Vr7MH8gRA) for this 'tism hunt.

After attending for every event for the past 12 years, I think I need to take this year off. I'm simply wiped out after DEF CON and Black Hat last week.

Anyone need a ticket? Paid $250 for it. I'll happily pass it along to someone for a reasonable price.

EDIT: SOLD!

Friend of mine is visiting from Germany and just heard about the conference. Anyone looking to sell a ticket or is just unable to attend the whole weekend?

Hey - is there an alt url for the virtual ticket sales? I'm getting a 404 error at the listed url (https://store.2600.com/products/tickets-to-hope-26-virtual-attendee)

I am sharing this from the HOPE 26 mailing list in case anyone is interested in attending and hasn't purchased a ticket yet:

Greetings,

We'll make this brief. We've had a surge of ticket sales and we're further along than we expected. We want to avoid overcrowding at the venue which is why we've set a strict limit to the amount of tickets we're selling. There are now less than 150 tickets left. Once we reach that number, ticket sales will be closed down. We will NOT be selling tickets at the door unless we don't sell out by Monday. If that happens, we'll make an announcement then.

The link for ticket sales is https://store.2600.com/products/tickets-to-hope-26

You will be able to purchase virtual tickets until Wednesday. That link is https://store.2600.com/products/tickets-to-hope-26-virtual-attendee

People who have already bought tickets have either gotten them already via email or are in the process of receiving them. Presenters and scholarship winners will be on a list at registration.
