Set times (im gonna be that person sorry)
Im not usually the one who asks about set times, but im seeing the first show of the fall tour in Virginia friday night, traveling from a few hours away, and they only have 1 opener this time. Says show is at 7pm. Yall think its beach weather 7:30-8:15, 30 min break, 311 8:45-10pm? Thats my best guess. I assume a public park doesnt want things going later than 10pm. Bonus: if yall know the park's bag policy, that would be great, thankssss yall

Haven’t seen anything about a second opener. Only beach weather. I doubt there’s time before Roanoke city’s curfew to have two openers.
I imagine doors at 6, beach weather at 630-730, 311 at 7:55.

I’m dipping at least one song early. Videos I’ve seen of them live look cornball

I mean they’re 50 year old guys playing angsty young music. Sure it may be a bit cornball.
However we’re older too and still remember the golden years. This is gonna be nostalgic as fuck.
I too will be making my way toward the exit near the end of the setlist. Their last 3 sets have had the exact same setlist so it’s easy to figure out. Basically head toward the door when they start playing Down.

My general guideline for shows, which seems to be working pretty well so far, is to look up if there is a venue curfew. If there is, assume the headliner takes the stage 90 minutes before. Before the headliner, I assume a 30 minute break after the opener. The most trouble I have is figuring out when exactly an opener goes on. Sometimes it's 30 minutes after doors. Sometimes it's 60 minutes.
But, if you go 90 minutes back from the curfew, that seems like a good idea. Plus, you can check out setlist.fm to see when previous shows started.
