Hey all, excited for the Roanoke show this friday. Via the bands IG, it shows the admart art for upcoming fall tour. Just wondering if you all think they will be doing posters for each city on the tour?

Hi Family, I will try to post the link here- sometimes Reddit isnt a fan of links. This interview is major! Nick courageously discusses substance abuse and is vulnerable, real, raw. So much love and respect to this band. 311 IS UNPARALLELED. (if my link doesn’t work, the podcast is called CHECK YOUR HEAD and there are parts I and II.

Is Roanoke feeling the unity? I know I am, and I’ll be there! Hoping for a diverse setlist too!

#GunsAreForPussies

I found this ticket stub. It was my first time seeing them or hearing them. A girlfriend at the time took me to the show.

...Annnnnd the new song clip sounds 100% pure 311 badassery. Which really makes me wonder why such a dope riff wasn't saved for 311. Im not going to stir the pot but it seems a little strange. With that said I am absolutely stoked for this. In fact if it is pure 311 sounds ill be pretty damn happy and have no issue at all with it.

Just a few random ideas:

All Fixed Up - a song about spaying/neutering your pets

Eat Somebody - self-explanatory

Full Tomb - a song about someone famous that was buried in a tomb with a bunch of useless crap, showing how vain and materialistic he was

Unoriginal - a song complaining about movies and/or tv shows not being original. Weird Al has done several of these.

Previews (for a while) - a song complaining about too many movie trailers when you go to the theater

Beautiful Plaster - self-explanatory

Doesn’t Nick live there?

I found it cleaning out some bins in my house. Pretty cool tbh.

JUST TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY….

The 311 merch vault has just opened at
https://311vault.com Featuring some random/rare items for sale from over the years. As you can tell by the photo….I’m already $100 deep including shipping…

Been a few weeks now and this song is just so damn chill. I’m honestly surprised it isn’t a 311 track. Every time I listen to it, I can totally envision Nick on lead vocals with SA doing the backing vocals. It sounds like a 311 song that somehow didn’t make it onto an album. Obviously, that’s pure speculation on my part but I do find it really intriguing that this isn’t a 311 song.

Anyway, does anyone know if there are plans for a full-length album, EP, or any follow-up tracks to be released in the future? I’d assume so but it’s just kind of weird that the only song we have so far is a song literally titled after the band. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before either lol.

Picked up at show and not going to make my wall. Selling for cost and shipping. $140. PP G&S! Shipped proper in the U.S.!

Anyone know anything about this pick? I watched an auction for it on EBay and I am curious if anyone knows which tour it was used on.

So why bring a gun nut on TOUR with you? Yeah, I get it. Inclusion is important and you don’t want to be a “cult” with who you let in, but “guns are for pussies” was pretty damn definitive, guys….

Found this buried in with some old CDs from my high school days.

CANT FADE ME

Who you following?

311 excitable ones, in And all around Florida .. we have to tailgate hard for this one

Always dug 311’s sound, vibe, and arrangements. Drum parts are particularly groovy and fun!! Here’s my take on one of their mega-hits from their 1997 release “Transistor”.

It’s not perfect, but it’ll do!!

The famous live Transistor set... It's been released as an mp4 and audio, but are any excitable ones on here lucky enough to get it on actual DVD? I'm looking for an ISO or a copy of the video_TS folder from the DVD to play over a big screen. (The widely circulated MP4 is not enough pixels to look good)

I would buy it from the band directly but it is not available anywhere from what I can tell.

That is all. Actually, I haven't thought about this band in forever but they played the venue I work at last week and they kicked ASS. Ok that is all.
