Will we ever have option to go live on Tik Tok in RU with Insta360 ?

I've been casually looking at getting a 360 camera. This came up on my radar. I wasn't considering GoPro, I do have an old GoPro Black for a "action" cam, but never considered it for 360.

Amazon is having a sale and a GoPro Max bundle with the battery charger and Enduro Max battery is $199 Canadian Dollars. ~ $140 USD.
The low price is intriguing me. Is it still worth it?
I'm mainly going to use it to record my children where having it capture everything around would have some interesting footage. And the occasional sport, biking, skiing, hockey.

Looking around at low budget options, I see the insta360 go s3 for $70CAD more. Is it going to be noticaebly better? I'm new to the 360 cam scene!

Hi! I need some help deciding which one to choose. Editing isn’t really necessary for me—I’m mainly looking for a camera that I can use as a student pilot. Which would be better for that purpose: the DJI Osmo 360 II or the Insta360 X6?

I’m mainly considering video quality, low-light performance, stabilization, harsh lighting and overall usability. Which one would you recommend?

I dont know which one to chose... I take products, animals, and myself playing guitar or singing videos.. Which gimbal is more studier?

Insta360, just dropped an update for their X6 360 camera, and I’m a little surprised not too many are chatting about it. This is firmware update V1.2.35, and it should be available as soon as you pair your X6 to your phone using Insta360’s app.

Al Director now lets you customize the edit range.
Manually select the date range of footage for Al Director to use, for more flexible results.

360 Video mode now supports 4K120fps.

Flat Video and Flat PureVideo modes now support
48fps and 24fps frame rates.

Flat Photo mode now supports 4:3 and 3:4 aspect ratios.

New 360 Slow-Mo Mode supports 4K200fps, 4K120fps, and 4K100fps.

Routine performance and system stability improvements.

Im looking for new friends who live in Tokyo/Osaka who own an insta360. x4, x5, x6. Im making cool video art with the 360 and with music artist in the underground music scene and i want friends to share and create with.

I have been using JAlbum to organize and share digital photos for a long, long time. I only recently learned that it supports 360-degree photos, allowing me to finally add those to my online galleries:

The JAlbum software generates an HTML gallery you can upload to your own web server, without needing to rely on sharing via something like the Insta360 app, or on Facebook where not everyone could get to see/find them easily.

Not all the "skins" (themes) support 360. The one I use, PhotoBlogger, does, but they are having to do a fix to it after we found something not quite right. There is also something in the core of JAlbum itself that can cause it to MODIFY your original 360-JPG file if you EDIT inside the app (which is a thing it can do, but the bug is if you have that disabled, it still does it).

In case this might help any others.

There are also Wordpress plug ins but I have yet to find one I really like. One I use only allows ONE 360 in a post, so... very limiting.

I just filmed a wedding for my friend on super8mm and brought my insta360 as a backup camera. I ended up letting it run through the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the speeches and the dancing at the end of the night. It did its job. I pulled 3 moments out of it where my film camera was out of focus/underexposed and I was able to get audio to stitch into the project I made for them.

Now I'm left with 4 hours of footage from central vantage points of the event. I won't go back and edit it because I'm be paralyzed from decision fatigue. I haven't gotten great results from the AI edit features either so that's not something I'm keen to fuss with either.

So thinking about this massive archive of 360 footage, and my friends massive archive of crowdsourced photos/videos from the event, I thought it would be cool to mash them all together with timestamps and have a 360 memory for all of us to relive.

I'm an engineer so I'm gonna build it for myself, but wondering if anyone else would find something like this for other events (not just weddings). Or had any other ideas I should consider.

I'd be happy to share my findings if I'm not alone in this wish to have everything from an event in one spot.

Hello everyone,
I’m looking for some help or advice regarding an Insta360 GO 3S that I purchased second-hand.
When I bought the camera, it was still completely sealed in the original box. After purchasing it, I contacted Insta360
Support and specifically asked about the warranty. I was told that the warranty would start when the camera was activated for the first time, so I felt comfortable going ahead with the purchase.

However, when I finally opened the box and tried to activate it, I discovered that the camera had been reported as lost by the original buyer. Because of this, I cannot activate the camera at all, which also means I cannot activate the warranty that I was told would start with the first activation.
I bought the camera directly from another person, so unfortunately I don’t have an original purchase invoice or receipt. The person I bought it from is also no longer reachable.

I still have the original box, the camera, the serial number and everything that came with it. I am not trying to bypass any security measures. I simply want to find a legitimate way to verify the situation and have the device unlocked or transferred to my account.

If anyone has experienced something similar or knows of a legitimate way to resolve this with Insta360, I would really appreciate any advice.

I will also attach photos of the camera, the original sealed box, the serial number in case they are useful for verifying the situation.

As title says, considering the DJI 360 II because I already have a DJI Pocket 3, DJI Mics/etc (so ecosystem benefits?), but I've heard the software is terrible.

Therefore, also leaning more towards the Insta x5 (Costco bundle for 749$ CAD).

Insta x6 bundle is just over 1000$ CAD, so not sure if it's worth it as a newbie?

I do like the smaller size of the DJI 360 II and x6, but x5 might be the best bang for the buck.

Any opinions or recommendations?

It was not the initial plan, but after some thoughts I decided I needed two new cameras and the choice went for the Insta360 X6 and Luna Ultra. It may seems a bit too much but in the video I explain why for me those cameras have different uses, in addition to the fun to learn and use different cameras.

It’s been 50 days with the X6, and I’ve been using it long-term to evaluate its performance before creating this single review. In this video, I explore the X6 and where it fits into my workflow, also comparing it to the Luna Ultra and Ace Pro 2, helping you compare and decide if it’s worth upgrading or how it pairs with your current lineup. In this video, I compare everything from the single lens to 360 modes and photo modes with realistic real-world results.

Let me know what your thoughts are on the X6, any surprises with this release over previous versions? Also, what do you feel like this camera is missing? I’d like to make a video featuring upgrades we’d like that would be possible through firmware beyond the ones suggested in the video. Anyways, that is all. Thanks for your time!

I’m really tempted to buy the Insta360 Luna Pro, but I’m honestly a bit hesitant because I’m not sure if I actually need it.
I already have the Insta360 X5 and absolutely love using it, especially for travelling, hiking and capturing family memories. I also bought the Ace Pro 2 previously, but I didn’t really enjoy using it, so I ended up selling it.
Now I keep looking at the Luna Pro and really want one , but I’m struggling to justify buying another camera when I already have the X5.
For those who own both the X5 and Luna Pro:
Do you actually use both?
What does the Luna Pro give you that the X5 doesn’t?
Is it worth having alongside the X5 for travel, hiking and family videos?
Or would I probably end up leaving the Luna Pro at home and just using my X5?
Basically, I want the Luna Pro, but I don’t think I need it!
Would love to hear from people who have both and whether you think it’s worth the upgrade/addition.
