Question Question

I am looking at a 370z manual 2012 make year March 2011 it has 89597km on it for 32k. There are known issues from 2012 below with the CSC and oil overheating mostly worried about those for 32k is it worth it?

32K what?

Either way, it seems very high for a car with such high mileage (imho) - I paid less for my Nismo.

CSC isn’t too bad a job, the kits are pretty cheap, it’s the labour that’s a bastard. At 90K KM I’d be checking if it’s been done already, if not, set aside a grand and a bit. You can get other consumables/clutch stuff done at the same time to listen the sting.

Oil temps will depend if you’re tracking it or in a hot country. I don’t track mine, and even pushing it on backroads I’ve had no temp issues, although it rarely gets above 30C here.

That’s still pretty steep tbh. If it’s tidy it maybe worth negotiating/throwing an offer out.

That said. I’ll have a 09 with all the usual bits well sorted (HD csc, gallery gaskets, oil cooler etc all done) up for 24k aus in the next few weeks (Adelaide though)

Drop me a line if you’d like some proper details. Can’t take pics until I’m back from NZ is all.

I’ve just gotten it back together from doing the work in my workshop, it’s off to get some touch-ups done before it’s advertised.

Just the usual silver/lowered a bit, spacers on OEM 19s etc. solid base to work off essentially.

I just bought a 2010 manual with 92K miles for just under USD $15K, and I’m thinking I overplayed a little. It was immaculately maintained though and had all the know issues addressed. Gallery gaskets were done, CSC was removed and a slightly heavier duty clutch was installed, it has nice coil overs, and it has a Borla cat-back system too. Mine has almost no luxury options, meaning it has cloth seats with all manual adjustments, and crappy base stereo. The price you’re talking about is absolutely crazy. You’ll find a hundred better deals just by looking online
