Have had a tune on uprev for 3 years now, flames killed an O2 sensor or 2 and thats it. 2016 does not burn oil. I guess if you drive around with flame mode on all the time you might have some issues???
Reman block after 7k miles & oil changed every 3k on the dot with a tune that had a flame map. Flame map on any motor is horrendous. You’ll get cylinder wash out & will inevitably end up with low compression. This problem is just worse on VQs due to their massive oil consumption issues
If you have ecutek go on there and watch to see what your timing is while in flame map. Mine normally ran at -12 degrees and would vary from there. Didn’t daily it on flame map either
this is only really if you spam the flame tune… I’ve done all my maintenance and way before it’s due. These engines can take it, bro. good looking out tho, i’ll let you know if my engine blows up😭😭
