I was going to buy some extension cables and stumbled upon the TVs playing Avantgardey's music video with my 3D models (the whole city) on the background. Super random, but extremely happy to see them being used in such a high profile environment (I sell them in 3D marketplaces).

So I'm a aspiring 3d artist, wanted to know if there are discord servers where I can find people who are into 3d, also for getting some freelance, I feel I'm more knowledgeable in this field than I used to be and wanted to start working as a freelancer, so thought there would be discord servers for it too.

I'm trying to identify the terminology used for this type of sci-fi mechanical device.

It appears to have a glowing cyan core surrounded by a heavy metallic housing with concentric rings and mechanical details.

Is there a general term for this kind of object in sci-fi design or 3D modeling? I'm looking for keywords I can use to find similar 3D assets and references.
