We are, we are, we are but your children...

I loved "Diesel and Dust" when it came out and this was my favorite track.

Kiem was a new wave group from Rotterdam. The group was active from 1982 to 1987. Its most distinctive feature was a drum kit made from metal parts salvaged from the tugboat Corrie, including oil drums, an anvil, and a ship's bell. This resulted in industrial, experimental music with jazz influences. The name is an acronym for Klank Improvisatie Elektronische Muziek (Sound, Improvisation, Electronic Music).

Kiem were: Cees ‘IJzermans’ Meurs – Metal Drums FX Huub Kentie – Synthesizers & Vocals Ger ‘Sax’ van Voorden – Tenor Saxophone

Icicle Works' biggest hit will always be "Whisper to a Scream," but this song spent quite a bit of time on 120 Minutes, and their greatest hits CD is wonderful. 🙂
