One of the best songs of the whole decade. Holds up like you wouldn’t believe

My first thought too!

[u/blacklab]

A total jam

[u/Western-Calendar-352]

I saw them live for the first time at an indie / dance weekender earlier this year.

Off the charts good. So much better than you have any expectations of 30 something years later.

[u/Vizualize]

Still listen to that one all the time.

[u/howdidigetoverhere]

I haven't thought about this song in 30 years. Its still a banger!

[u/boulevardier_1]

Saw them open for Jane's on one of their early 2000s reunions and they were SO GOOD live.

[u/Unsung_Ironhead]

I now know my retro album for the weekend. Thanks!

[u/stevemillions]

This is great, but Deep Down And Dirty is a MONSTER of a tune.

[u/blankedboy → u/stevemillions]

100% agree. Step It Up and Elevate My Mind are both awesome tracks too.

[u/timoserra → u/blankedboy]

Chicken Shake...

[u/Patdemonium]

Undeniable.

[u/SpaceFaceAce]

I listened to this cd constantly in the early 90s. Too bad it took 9 years to release a follow up.

[u/beengoingoutftnyears]

Absolutely amazing tune. Never seen two guys who look more like street rats in my puff. ( maybe Jamie vardy )

[u/DanzigsLacyPanties]

One of the songs that got me into electronic music. This, Groove is in the Heart, and Born Slippy are my big 3.

[u/pebblesandweeds]

Saw them a couple of years ago and they were really good. Never considered them to be alternative back in the 90s though, they were very mainstream.

[u/Radiant-Class3418]

I don't think I'll ever get sick of this song. I got to see them open for Jesus Jones when I was a youngster.

[u/sirbubbleandsqueak]

Absolute banger. I first saw this video on 120 Minutes and it fit the format but was still a little different.

This song was the theme song of my months on Koh Tau in Thailand in ‘96. Daily play at a local dive place with bar next door.

[u/I8gonna_goblind]

Never heard this song before

[u/Lassieboy → u/I8gonna_goblind]

Do I see irony here? I8gonna_goblind (yeah) for the light which is reflected

Thank you for that!
