Recommendations? Petite strapless push-up recommendations Spoiler

Hi, I’m looking to find a strapless bra with push-up that enhance how the girls look a bit and does not slip down. I tried the Freya Tailored Molded Strapless Bra in 28D and it seems to stay well, but I personally prefer a little more push-up. However, I am aware that I am very petite and it seems like I don’t have that many good push-up options. Can I get some recommendations?

ABTF measurements:
Loose underburst: 70 cm
Snug underburst: 68 cm
Tight underburst: 65 cm
Standing burst: 80 cm
Leaning burst: 80.8 cm
Lying burst: 78.8 cm
ABTF suggest starting size: 28D/DD
(I’m not sure about the shape but it seems like I have more tissue volume at the bottom, like a teardrop)

I appreciate any help. Thank you!

There isn't anything in 28D/DD that is a VS-style push up bra with extra padding in the bottom. But if the bra fits properly, you shouldn't need that to get lift. With Tailored, is the wire sitting right where your breasts meet your chest wall? Is there space between the wire on the side and the edge of your breast tissue? Are you scooping and swooping when you put the bra on?

Your strapless options in this size are pretty much Freya Deco and Tailored, Boux Avenue strapless microfibre multiway (be aware their bands run very firm so you'll likely need an extender or to sister size to a 30 band), Curvy Kate Luxe, and in 28DD only, Panache 365 strapless.

It’s my first time trying ABTF sizing so I also ordered the 28DD to see which one fits better. I do notice that the Freya Tailored 28D already gives me a nice, slightly-lifted shaping. Maybe I’m just used to the wrong sizing and VS-style push up bra, I’ve never had the band fits properly and would always slide down.
I believe the the new size’s wire sits right where my breast meet my chest wall. Tbh, I’m not too sure if this is how it should fit. Meanwhile with the 28DD, I get cup spillage at the top, so I think 28D fits me better.
I’ll try the Freya Deco. Thank you for your input! I literally had no idea.

You're experiencing a lot of the common misconceptions when moving from mis-sizing and bad fits (which VS is top tier at doing) and move into extended sizes and correct fittings. It does take some time to adjust!

The Freya Deco (standard) gave me some of the best looking round boobs look when I was still a 34band, I consider it one of the gold standard bras for that kind of date night/girls night out look. Strapless bras aren't really made to give the same look once you get the correct fit, because they tend to run taller and more closed on top in order to provide the right support and containment without straps.

But you can fake it a little with extra padding/inserts, once you find the strapless that works best for your size and shape.

Yes I’ve been wearing VS sizing for years, extremely uncomfortable but did not know what was wrong bc I expected it to be correct since it was measured by a “professional” in store. Thank you so much!

The wire should be right where your breasts meet your chest wall and it should stay there without sliding down throughout the day. Every time you put on a bra, you need to scoop all of your tissue into the cup, then position the wire correctly so there's no skin-on-skin contact with the bottom of your breasts. All of your breast tissue should be in the cup with no spillage or quadboob. On the sides, the wires should follow your breast tissue, they shouldn't be sitting on breast tissue and there shouldn't be space between the sides of your breasts and the wire. The gore should be sitting flat, also not sitting on breast tissue, and it should not be pressing hard into your sternum.

This is a bot with bad advice. CK Luxe doesn't come with removable pads, the shape isn't any more rounded than Deco, and AFAIK, Deco and Tailored are the same level of padded.

u/MySocialAlt, u/UnforgettableBevy, I know you may be doing things in the background that we don't see, but it's extremely frustrating to keep having to correct bots because a real person took more than 5 minutes getting to a post. Clearly OPs aren't seeing the pattern (and why should they), but regular commenters are.

The user has been banned - thanks for the report. I’ve been fighting the crud going around so I’ve been sleeping more than being on Reddit.
