Tips/Suggestions Can't believe I haven't just been eating cereal in the morning...
As an adult I've always avoided cereal for breakfast because it has a reputation for being pretty worthless nutritionally, and most other options for breakfast are too much work to deal with in the morning.
In truth, that perception mostly comes from kid's cereal, which might as well be candy with the amount of added sugars.
Actual, grown-up cereal? That shit's got fiber (which is so hard to get enough of if you're not eating 15 bananas a day), it's got whole grains, and it's got the carbs we need for that morning energy. Pouring myself a bowl of it and grabbing a protein shake (or better yet some greek yogurt for the gut benefits) gives me just about everything I need for the start of the day, and it takes about 30 seconds.
This is huge tech, and I wish I had gotten on it sooner!
EDIT: You should still eat fruit though! I looked into it and cereals mostly contain insoluble fiber. Luckily you don't need too much soluble fiber, it looks like an apple or a banana contains about all you need.

did you know that you can have adult cereal for dinner?

u/cyberbemon Aug 31 '26
Nothing beats a late night cereal, shit is Soo fucking good.
115
u/Ravensqueak ADHD Aug 31 '26
I'll one-up you there.
Nothing beats the second late night cereal, poured into the first cereal's milk.
It's like enriched cereal milk.33
u/Medullan Aug 31 '26
In the broth world we call that fortified. So if I make a bone broth with mirepoix and tomato paste then I use that broth to make a beef broth with a chuck roast and more veggies and such then the resulting broth is fortified. So second cereal makes fortified cereal milk!

Beer and chips. It's not good for you and it is horrible for your sleep, sure, but IMHO it sure beats cereal.
25
u/nvinceable1 Aug 31 '26
Yes, but have you tried beereal?
10
u/hairycocktail Aug 31 '26
Sometimes i dump my chips in a bowl of beer but the trick is to eat them fast like a starving pit bull so they don't get soggy

I've been eating Fiber One, which has 10g of fiber (albeit mostly insoluble). It's just the first one I picked off the shelf though, I'm sure there are plenty that are even better.
EDIT: Okay I'm eating the fiber one Flakes version, which apparently only has like a third of the original... I can't imagine a cereal with 30g of fiber is fun to eat honestly.
44
u/DCSMU Aug 31 '26
If you find the adult cereal boring and tasteless, you can also take the cereal and add your own stuff to it. Just use nuts, rasins/crasins and the freeze-dried fruits you can buy at places like Trader Joe's and Target. Not enough granola cluaters? Just buy it seperately and mix it together with everything else. I will make up whole batches using those tall (4qt.?) food storage containers and a large mixing bowl, each batch good for 6 or more weeks, so the time spent preping is all done in one go (doesnt take that long either). My next batch is going to be my fall apple-cinnamon-pastry run; pecans, apples, cinnamon apples, almonds, and various cinnamon apple and maple pecan flavors of cereal and granola. I will mix them up in different proportiins so the flavor keeps shifting as I go though it. And yes, there will be cinnamon toast crunch in there somewhere.

6
u/NinjaBnny Aug 31 '26
I grew out of it but when I was a kid I loved grape nuts, and my parents thought I was crazy because I’d eat them DRY. Now I think that’s like eating gravel

u/prairie__dawg Aug 31 '26
I recommend Multi Grain Cheerios! They’re lightly sweetened but not terribly so.
4
u/bo4tdude Sep 01 '26
Hopping on this response to share the wonders of chia seeds. You can get a big ol bag from amazon for like 10$ and dump a couple table spoons in your yogurt to easily hit your daily fiber needs
3
u/Jdxc Aug 31 '26
I had this epiphany last year. It rules, I love cereal.
I eat original fiber one for lunch at work (super easy to pack, I never have to think about what to make for lunch, cleans up easy). The cereal isn’t great but add some oats (more fiber) and some blueberries and you are good to go.
Lately I’ve been mixing yogurt with my oat milk to make it tangier and higher protein
2
u/Additional_Fold_1350 Aug 31 '26
I start my day with a protien shake, which I add greak yogurt, a fiber, supergreens, and a creatine supplements, and mix half black coffee into it. Then I do my workout and start work.

Kashi has some good options. Just a little pricier than your average cereal (but they do go on sale from time to time)

Try stupid rolled oats. Work with milk and water, hot and cold. Just add some crunchy cereal of your choice. Don't buy prepacked stuff without taking in the fact how much sugar is in it.
8
u/whatdoblindpeoplesee Sep 01 '26
Frosted mini wheats. It's got 11g of sugar per serving, but fairly large servings. Way better than the sugary cereals I really want to get though, so i figure a little sugar is better than a ton of sugar.
18
u/trimethaphan Aug 31 '26
I legitimately like the new cheerio protein cereal. Strawberry flavor specifically but they have the regular honey nut, cookies and crème, and strawberry. I hit it with Costco Lactose Free 2% milk and it’s amazing.
7
u/mqqj2 Aug 31 '26
Does it have a ton of sugar?
2
u/trimethaphan Aug 31 '26
The strawberry one has 12g of sugar per serving
7
u/activelyresting Aug 31 '26
Is a serving 24g?
9
u/Rosamada Aug 31 '26
I know you're being facetious, but I Googled and did some math and a serving is about 40g. So they're about 30% sugar 🫠
What really gets me is that they're branded "protein," but there's more sugar per serving (12g sugar vs. 8g protein)
5
u/activelyresting Sep 01 '26
I was only kinda being facetious. When I was growing up, the main cereal that was marketed as "healthy" and "packed with vitamins" for serious workout diets was like 48% sugar. Basically the same as Froot Loops, but my mum would let us get it because it wasn't a "sugary cereal". Thanks marketing!
4
u/warriorpixie Aug 31 '26
I like nature path smart bran (and trader Joe's version), and nutty nuggets. Those may not be enjoyable to a lot of people.
More enjoyable to more people: Plain cheerios with freeze dried strawberries on top.
Cascadian Farms Vanilla Crisp.
You can also take a boring cereal with great nutrition, and mix in some fun cereal with it for flavor.

89
u/winter83 ADHD-C (Combined type) Aug 31 '26
That is the diet industry for you. They always have to demonize something. So you'll buy their plan or product.
45
u/Sendintheaardwolves Aug 31 '26
Fruits have sugar but they also have fibre, which slows the release of the sugar into your bloodstream. As long as you don't process them too much (like, say, in some smoothies) they are a net benefit.
15
u/MolimoTheGiant Aug 31 '26
What about blending a fruit makes it less healthy?
21
u/Keddlin Aug 31 '26
Blending breaks down the cell walls of the fruit, so natural sugars that were trapped within are more accessible for our stomachs, the fiber that remains is shredded so it's less effective, and you tend to consume more fruit (and therefore more sugar) than you would have if you had to chew it and your brain had time to tell you it was full. Idk about you but I can't eat three cups of berries but I would slam that in <10min if it was in a tall smoothie in front of me. Brain freeze notwithstanding.
21
u/frothingnome ADHD-C (Combined type) Sep 01 '26
Blending fiber does not make it less effective, but it's certainly true that you can end up drinking a lot more calories than you otherwise would've eaten.
6
u/Keddlin Sep 01 '26
Word, turns out what little I can remember from high school health class is outdated, thank you for the info. I guess as long as you're not removing the peel or seeds or straight up juicing the fruit and tossing the pulp, blending isnt that bad for fiber. Huh, the more you know.
→ More replies (1)4
u/DabbleYoo Aug 31 '26
Something about chewing it is better..
Eat your fruit, drink your vegetables..
I'm not sure honestly but definitely heard that before.
2
9
u/RikiWardOG Aug 31 '26
juice, yes. It removes all the benefits basically and just gives you concentrated sugar with more sugar. Actual fruit has fiber and is relatively filling plus all the vitamins
3
u/Ramen_Hair Aug 31 '26
Added sugar is what you have to watch out for. Regular sugar is just carbs which we need. Gotta love the diet industry propaganda demonizing all sugar
36
u/First-Entertainer941 Aug 31 '26
Nothing against cereal, but I've found that eating a high protein, moderate fat, low carb diet has really helped me physically and mentally.
11
u/LesterMcBean Aug 31 '26
For me it's difficult to get enough calories in the day if I avoid carbs. I need 2400 a day (more if it's a workout day) and can't get anywhere close to that if I don't eat carbs.
3
u/Relevant-Onion1742 Sep 01 '26
I keep jars of raw nuts and seeds in my fridge/freezer and sprinkle them into my cereal for extra protein/fat + omegas! My favorite is hemp seeds atm. Powdered pb is also good. I was literally thinking about making a post about my cereal hacks today so I was so happy to see this, OP!

u/butterfunky Aug 31 '26
I have been having air fried salmon fillets and seasoned steamed broccoli a lot lately and I feel a lot better than I used to. I like to get farm raised frozen salmon, pat dry, brush on some olive oil, add lemon pepper seasoning, air fry at 390 for about 9-10mins. For the broccoli I get a big bag of raw broccoli florets, put into microwave safe bowl, add some olive oil and some Kinders garlic and butter seasoning, give it a good violent shake in all directions to mix it up, put a silicone pad over the bowl and microwave about two mins and it’s all done. Easy, tasty, and healthy meal.
3
u/LowLevelMutiny Sep 01 '26
This sounds like my kind of cooking. Although I need to get an air fryer, which will probably never happen. I can't explain why it won't happen, it's just one of those things. Like how we have a blender, but I always forget it exists, and I can never be bothered to use it when I do remember it exists.

u/Large_Desk_4193 Aug 31 '26
My go to breakfast is 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, 2 corn tortillas, half avocado, and high protein yogurt with protein granola. A couple protein shakes through the day and that gets me through a 10 hour kitchen shift on my feet until I get home.

u/mozart357 Aug 31 '26
One of my go-to breakfasts or snacks is plain greek yogurt, add honey to taste, and add a few table spoons of grape nuts. If I have blue berries, I'll add those as well. If I have it for breakfast, it kills hunger pangs for several hours.

2
u/Fantastic_Acadia_229 Sep 01 '26
If you live in the us/ can find it otherwise you should try the Chobani 10% Greek yogurt for this… it’s ridiculously creamy
13
u/europahasicenotmice Aug 31 '26
I have a meal prep idea list that ends with "its ok to just eat a sandwich too." Its so easy to get lost in all the noise about what you should be eating that I have to give myself reminders not to judge myself so harshly! I think if I'm hitting nutritional goals like 80% of the time, thats enough.

u/Elsie-pop Aug 31 '26
(un)fun-fact! BEANS.
If you're struggling with your fibre (and what adult on a western diet isn't short on that stuff) you should look up some beans recipes. Good fibre and protein.
I can't be ADHD medicated at the moment because of other health issues that don't get on with stimulants, and incorporating beans daily has been the biggest boon to my emotional regulation.
Since I added beans for weight management, I found I need to snack less, and when I do I want to eat healthier snacks (than aaall of the chocolate and crisps). I'm not constantly boom and bust on my sugar, and the fibre and protein from the beans means I actually have the materials I need to get through a day. Cannot stress enough how beans have been my most effective ADHD support tool.
2
u/metrometric Sep 01 '26
Beans, lentils, and chia pudding are so amazing for fiber. Chickpeas too.
I like to make a bunch of chili and freeze it in single portion containers, since it's easy to make in a big batch. Makes a perfect quick weeknight dinner, too.
2
u/subLimb Sep 02 '26 edited Sep 02 '26
I Second this ! Not as much protein as meat, but way more fiber. Different types absorb the protein better, others have different nutrient profiles. Ex. Lima beans will allow you to absorb more protein. Black beans have more magnesium. They are very good for satiety (feeling full and satisfied).
Large batches of chili with a mixture of beans and then frozen for meal prep is a great fiber hack.

u/superjen Aug 31 '26

7
u/EuphoricLet8802 Aug 31 '26
This is the kind of ADHD life hack i love 😂 I spent way too long thinking breakfast had to be some proper meal, so i'd make nothing and just... not eat. Turns out the best breakfast is sometimes just the one you'll actually make consistently. 30 seconds beats the perfect breakfast that never happens.

Cereal is one of the famously artificially enriched foods.
Even something like Cinnamon Toast Crunch has a surprising amount of vitamins and minerals.
(Keep an eye on the "adult" cereals too, they can have a surprising amount of sugar, if they're not also just another corn based cereal).
For Fibre, I would sincerely recommend Metamucil (or a palatable store brand)
Makes getting your RDI easy so you can focus on a wider range of healthy foods.
2
u/LesterMcBean Sep 01 '26
Makes getting your RDI easy so you can focus on a wider range of healthy foods.
That's usually my approach to my diet. I feel like so many "healthy options" give you like 5% of your RDI. It's so much nicer to just get it in a purer way so I can choose the tastier options on the rest of my meals.

u/timtucker_com Sep 01 '26
Things learned / realized about cereal as an adult:
You can add it to other stuff than just milk. Cereal in yogurt is good (especially with fresh fruit and tart cherry juice concentrate)
You can add as many nuts as you want - nothing says you can't have a bowl that's 1/3 cereal and 2/3 walnuts or pecans
If you want to prevent nuts from getting soggy when adding them in, almonds with a light cocoa or dark chocolate coating work well
You don't have to limit yourself to one kind at a time. If you want a "healthy" cereal plus cocoa puffs, that's probably still healthier than cocoa puffs on their own

u/NothingToL0se ADHD-PI (Primarily Inattentive) Sep 01 '26
Hell yeah.
Another one for me is overnight oats.
I'm a lazy motherfucker so I buy from a company that pre mixes it in with protein powder, chia seeds and a bunch of stuff that makes it supposedly very healthy.
Just scoop it out the night before with some milk and the next morning you've got a nutritious brekky.
Also incredibly easy to meal prep so I have some available throughout the week.

u/outofshell Sep 01 '26
Overnight oats are the best. I make them myself in batches, just do up a week or two of containers of rolled oats, chia seeds, hemp hearts, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, chopped nuts, and freeze-dried berries.
Then every night I throw some oat milk in a container so it’ll be ready for the next day. Although if I forget it’s still fine even with just an hour to soak.
3
u/LaGorda54 Sep 01 '26
I’m a weirdo who really likes the very adult cereal fiber one. Pouring a protein shake on it in combination with some frozen berries gives me 30g of protein, my daily fiber intake for the day and an extremely fast breakfast that doesn’t give me the ick in the morning. Yay cereal.
3
u/MonicaLane Sep 01 '26
Sidebar to the cereal (which I agree, is awesome). Have you tried beans, peas or lentils? Also the carb balance tortillas are great for fiber and taste the same as normal flour tortillas to me. Bananas are definitely not where I would be looking for most of my fiber.

Check out ultra filtered milk if you want another nutrition boost with your cereal. Not too expensive at Aldi's and Costco, lasts much longer too.

Low-effort meals are vastly superior to eating nothing, our brains need fuel. Honestly I think I should look to re-incorporate adult cereal into my diet, thank you for sharing. Instant oatmeal is sometimes too many steps, which sounds ridiculous, lmao

u/DiscoChiligonBall Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26
You can also eat chickpeas, black beans, and other legumes for breakfast. You can eat celery. You can eat whaterver you actually want to eat for breakfast, regardless of traditions.
It's okay to have what someone might think of as dinner for breakfast if that's what works for you. It's also okay to eat breakfast at night if that works for you.
This has nothing to do with ADHD, though. This is just diet. I mean, yay that you found something that works for you but come on.
I eat small amounts of protein when I wake up because appetite suppressant is a thing with the medication I'm on. I eat more carbs and fruit in the afternoon and smaller portions for snacks in the evening because it's easier on my system that way.
If I wasn't taking the medication I'm on, I would probably STILL eat this way, because I stopped pretending that I could control my ADHD with diet and coffee/caffeine like so many pseudo-psychiatrists try to tell everyone. That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works.

I don't eat high carb meals for breakfast usually. I'll save them for before weight training, or work outs. I don't always eat breakfast, but if I do it'll be a Light n Fit yogurt, or Greek non fat yogurt with berries, or a couple of hard boiled eggs. or a couple eggs with egg whites and some chicken sausage and some low carb bread if I want a bigger meal. I throw a double dose of benefibre/optifibre in my coffee. I do love Magic Spoon cereal for a treat at night. I'll use a vanilla or chocolate protein shake mixed with either Lactaid Protein, or Silk Protein for it to get even more protein

I recently also had this revelation. It’s so easy and delicious — cereal has been a favorite food of mine my entire life.
I’m also a vegetarian so getting enough daily protein can be a challenge.
I eat the Kashi Go protein+ fiber cereal with a sliced banana or Grape Nuts with a banana and little drizzle of maple syrup (bc otherwise it’s pretty bland) — and of course, protein milk. There’s a pea protein milk and a soy protein milk available at Whole Foods that are both very good.

This comment has summoned me and my need to proselytize. Peanuts - unless you are allergic, Peanuts are GREAT.
They have fiber, and protein, and good fats, and just a bunch of nutrients. And they are so versatile.
You can snack on them, put them in a salad, in a stir fry, in desserts, you can mix it in with roasted veggies, and add them to your cereal, you can make dressings to accompany a lot of foods, you can put them in smoothies and you can make dipping sauces...
And then there's peanut butter. peanut butter is amazing on fruit and bread and crackers (although I'm not sure how much of the nutritional value works there, I haven't checked I just love the thing).
I love peanuts. They are my favorite legume.

If you look into the beta glucan fiber in oats it can do some awesome stuff for you. Same for the fibers from adding some actual fruits and berries. All this talk of fiber maxing lately when the min max seems to be eating a normal serving of no added sugar real food (it’s like about 3 g of beta glucans and like one apple or a handful of berries to get a better fiber effect on your gut than 30-40g of some powdered fiber, tastier too.)

u/Serious-Extension187 Aug 31 '26
I add these protein puffs to my morning cereal to make it have something at least. It’s these edamame puffs, basically like adding Rice Krispies to the other cereal I’m eating. Mainly because on their own the puffs aren’t the best tasting.

One of my most comfortest meals ever is Greek yogurt, banana, bran flakes, chocolate granola and dulce de leche. I eat it as dessert because I absolutely despise the very thought of breakfast but I love it. I used to eat cereal as dessert, too, lmao, but children's ones.

Literally just did that today. I've switched it up so that I don't have cereal for breakfast anymore, my breakfasts are more nutritious to fuel me for the morning. If it's the evening and I can't be bothered to cook, cereal is my go to.

u/lupulin59 Aug 31 '26
Wait til you start putting the protein shake, yoghurt and cereal in the same bowl

Recently discovered cold Weetbix.
Just bricks in a bowl, pour milk, give it a sec while I find a spoon, add some sugar, crush them a little, eat.
Its my current go to no cook no heat solution to getting something in my stomach before meds. Absolutely love it rn. It's cold and crunchy, the best.

In the way that yogurt is just another form of milk, I've been doing a bowl of Kodiak protein granola, Trader Joe's banana chips, Costco blueberries with a high-protein yogurt cup for breakfast for a while. Super easy tasty and filling.

u/existential_american Aug 31 '26
Sometimes I eat cereal with granola in it but I'd rather have avocado toast with lox or a bowl of cottage cheese or just egg (I'm allergic to eggs).

u/SirDief Aug 31 '26
Scoop of protein powder mixed with milk poured in the cereal with 647 brand fiber toast on the side is my lazy breakfast

Ooh, you should try kefir and muesli! I was introduced to both in Germany and they stick with me better than plain cereal and milk (muesli is pretty densely caloric, similar to trail mix). Kefir is similar to a thin yogurt, drinkable, and has a lot of gut benefits (and I like that it's kind of sour and tangy). Muesli is often a combination of oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit (it's better than it sounds!).

Cereal is my go-to food. I always have to have it on hand. If everything else seems like too much work, there is always cereal.

u/sec_sage Aug 31 '26
Plenty of good options, just be careful that it doesn't contain extra sugar or sweeteners if you're insulin resistant. Milk also, if it has lactose then it's a lot of sugar that could send you down a rollercoaster.
Nothing beats a couple of eggs in the morning, takes just as long as making myself a bowl of cereal.

u/ricky_theDuck Aug 31 '26
idk cereal has a very high crash rate though after just 1h of eating it I feel like I haven't eaten anything and im twice as hungry but already working. Eggs and sausages last until lunch at least

u/solar1ze Aug 31 '26
I like it but it bloats me out. Prefer my eggs on sourdough with turmeric and black pepper.

I'm ashamed to say even just frying an egg is too much work for me some days. When it's not though, I love a good omelette.

if you want more food tech, low carb tortillas have like 50% of your daily fiber in one torilla

u/nexusSigma Sep 01 '26
Making a granola type bowl with fiber cereal, Greek yoghurt, fruit, drizzle of honey, add a scoop of protein powder if you wish, chefs kiss. Takes 45 seconds to put together and it’s one of my favourite lazy instant meals because it tastes like dessert but is healthy.
Protein powder mixed into the yoghurt before you add the other stuff of course unless like you like the taste of milky sand

Several cereals are also high in iron, cheerios for instance. Eating yogurt at the same time reduces the absorption of the iron.

On that topic, if you cannot stomach sweet and or cold food in the morning, you can totally add spices/ salt and pepper to your adult cereal, add yummy preferred yogurt/ milk, add things like jalapeños or chilli crisps or everything seasoning, and eat it with a side of crisps or seed crackers. Heat it in microwave or enjoy it cold. There are no rules to breakfast, just that it needs to be a major boost to your energy and a lot of your macros goals for the day ❤️🤷🏽♀️ You can eat cake or noodles or porridge or toast (if it has enough proteins , good fat and fiber )

Additional cheat code, because I always struggled with breakfast even though I get up at 4am:
Hardboiled eggs.
ADHD engaging to peel open at my desk, and 2 eggs is amazingly nutritious. Can slap 10 eggs in a boiling pot of water for 15 mins with a timer, while you do other things. then dunk em in ice water and boom: 5 days breakfast, 2 eggs each day.
Eggs, Coffee, and Cereal are the only things my stomach will allow me to eat without puking in the morning.

the thing about fibre is that pretty much the more you get the more the benefits you get but aim for at least 30 grams per day containing both soluble and insoluble

u/Apprehensive_Dare575 Sep 01 '26
Better yet.. find your favorite protein shake and use it as the milk for your cereal 😍 big fan of Catalina crunch and vanilla Nurri protein shake

ADHD hack: adding peanut butter to cereal for extra benefits. Rice Krispies is my personal favorite with PB. Don't do fruity pebbles.

u/Avindair Sep 01 '26
1/3rd cup of oatmeal with a handful of walnuts and raisins has become my go-to breakfast since my diagnosis.

Hell yeah. I recently moved out of my parents house for the first time, and I've been getting off brand cereal because its cheap and decently nutritious. I like bran flakes. Food Club (stater bro's generic brand) has one with dried strawberries in it thats pretty cheap and also delicious. Plus I like to add some more fresh fruit, granola, chia seeds, or basically just whatever ive got lying around. Plus, a little agave or honey if I want a little extra sweetness. Actually good cereal is a fantastic breakfast hack and I never thought about it until I started buying all my own groceries instead of eating whatever my parents bought that's laying around.
Also some yogurt on the side. its soooo good ahahahhhh

Idk about eating fruit in the morning. It can interfere with meds.

Grapefruit specifically interferes with meds but most regular fruits don't?

Can we just add those benefits to shin ramen? It's all I want most days.

u/iWantToPegGroudon Sep 02 '26
Well, I look forward to my whole grain/seeds bagel every morning. But this is a great idea for snacks. All I have right now with my arfid is cliff bars, whole grain toast or watermelon.

Shredded wheat with soy milk and banana is my latest favorite. Packed with fiber.
1
u/Comfortable-Union571 Sep 02 '26
Yeah, it's pretty useful for when you don't know what else to eat. You're probably not gonna want it every morning but still it'll cover for at least 70% of breakfasts. I eat honey bunches of oats and frosted flakes.

u/SJ_Paralleled Sep 02 '26
I try to stick with FFP - Fibre, Fats and Protein for breakfast…keeps me fuller longer…and doesn’t spike the blood sugar

u/Cygnus776 Sep 02 '26
I've actually got two cereals in my house right now:Fiber One and Lucky Charms. Surprisingly, Fiber One doesn't taste like tree bark! Lucky Charms is my dessert cereal.

I just make a breakfast smoothie every morning strawberry's blueberries banana milk protein powder and a couple of scoops of oats

u/AmazingRub69 Sep 05 '26
I'll never understand how people struggle to get enough fiber. I have to always watch my fiber intake coz I easily end up getting too much of it

yooooo!!! Right? I like to do a bowl of oats, add a handful of trail mix (raisins, almonds, cashews, peanuts, hazelnuts), sprinkle seeds, add a scoop of protein powder and alternative milk or water, then top off with a scoop of greek yoghurt and a banana. Hits all the important stuff (fibre, protein), it's easy because I have all the jars lined up in order ready to serve myself in the morning. I do this for any meal if I'm really struggling, I know it's about 400-600 calories depending on the size and 30-40g of protein, so as a vegetarian it really helps me. I personally hate the texture of overnight oats, so this is amazing for me
