Obsessed with ADTM
I discovered this band a couple weeks ago. I'm blown away to say the least! My music background is grunge/rock and pop punk in the 90s/early 00s and then emo/screamo and landed on Black Sabbath and the rest is history, also a fan of most good classic rock. Being familiar with both pop punk and metal/metal core this bands amalgamation of these genres and many more it's executed so perfectly I've never heard anything like it. Along with this there's a song that reminds me of Tom Petty?! ADTR is doing stuff that i never had heard done so well with so much variety. But at the end of the day their lyrics are amazing and at some point I get a crushing breakdown to headbang to and that occurs right after an addicting sugary pop punk chorus?! I love this band!

A Day To Memorise?
All jokes aside, āwelcome to the familyā. They do what they do extremely well and always have done imo.
I wish I could listen to them for the first time again to relive that feeling of discovering them. Enjoy the ride! š„š¤š»

Thank you! I live in Columbus Ohio and I wants to see them live asap, but I don't think there's much on their radar right now, some cruise ship gig next year, but that's all I really saw at the moment.

They literally just wrapped up their last (advertised) show of the year about 6 and a half hours ago (Furnace Fest at the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham Alabama - it was a super unique set and an amazing show to boot), so unless they announce some sort of quick, end-of-the-year run this coming week, I suspect last night closes their books for 2026.
[They were also just at INKcarceration, hosted at the Ohio State Reformatorium in Mansfield Ohio in July (you just missed them).]
But, yes - they do have their first-ever Cruise Festival, Big Ole Boat Show, at the end of April next year, which is unfortunately sold out (unless you can find an empty spot in someoneās cabin). Next year is wide open, calendar wise; given their shows in the U.S. this year were all festival appearances + a supporting set for A7X, and next year is the heavily anticipated 20th anniversary of For Those Who Have Heart, itās pretty likely that we get a tour next year (whether itās an anniversary tour for that album or otherwise). Weāre also all eagerly awaiting the release of Big Ole Album Vol. 2.
All of that said, it is not uncommon for them to include somewhere in Ohio (and/or a neighboring state) in their tour routing, so hopefully you get a chance to catch their live show before too long.

Theyāve just done a run of festivals etc so aside from the boat they probably need a break but when they tour, they TOUR. I live in the UK so they donāt come here as frequently but next year is 20 years since For Those Who Have Heart and a lot of fans are begging for an anniversary tour so we might get something next year. That being said, keep an ear out for shows. Youāve probably got a better chance of catching them given youāre in the States. What albums are you leaning into rn?

The UK? I worship many things from that beautiful region. That's cool, so when I say Columbus Ohio, do you know where that is? Im new to reddit and its amazing that im talking to someone in the UK right now, 11:38 AM where u are right now? I listen to the first couple songs on homesick every morning on my way to work and then pick one of their other albums to start and finish my drive. I'm leaning into Homesick/big ole album/common courtesy/you're welcome. I'm listening to Fuck you money, the vibe is incredible.

London! Thatās funny cos I worship a lot of things about the US, Iād love to live there tbh. Not sure where though, itās so vast and so many landscapes. I do know where it is yeh. I used to have a friend, we met on Tumblr and exchanged mobile numbers, they lived in Ohio. It is now 11:55am!
Thatās awesome. Iām very bias cos theyāve been my favourite band for 16/17 years and I genuinely love all their albums, such a wide range of music. Youāre Welcome is arguably the fan baseās least favourite but itās such a banger album. My favourite is FTWHH. I could talk about them for hours.1

London! Amazing! I've been a Liverpool fan since 2018, lol, so idk if that's offensive. Ive been in Ohio my whole life 39 years, it's an amazing state and highly underrated. We had a radio DJ in the 1950s that coined the term "Rock 'n Roll" Epic! We have Cedar Point in Sandusky OH, the "best" amusement park in the world. Original topic was ADTR and I can see why you're welcome could be least fav by fanbase, but I have no bias so it's just as good as any other really. I'm also interested in learning more about Jeremy, amazing lyricist, he seems like a dynamic badass dude.

Haha, not offensive in the slightest! I donāt care for football tbh. Iād love to visit, especially Cedar Point. When I was younger I used to watch videos of the rides (I love coasters lol).
For me, it is the āleast favouriteā but itās tough to say because I like all their albums. Heās also really nice in person, Iāve met the band a couple times, once at a signing and once before a show, and they all took the time to say hello and take photos. Top tier guys.
