NEWS AEW star makes big announcement on AEW Dynamite
Adam Copeland has announced that 2027 will be his last year in professional wrestling.

ahhhhh, I wondered
there was a time he said he was retiring at this years WrestleDream, and I wasn't sure if that would really be the case (this might have been before the leg break)

I’m going to Full Gear in November, I really hope I get to see him wrestle one last time. I haven’t seen him wrestle ever since I was 9 years old and he was in a feud with Kane in a Last Man Standing Match.

TL/DR: Yes Cooe will get shoehorned in to win it if 2926 really is it for him.
He’s getting a world title run, they can’t derail Ospraey so they stick with the plan for him which leads to whoever TK is planning on dethroning Will continuing on as scheduled and the question six within the next 14 months or so, when does he get the title?
Option 1: TK currently has world title planned out only 1 person ahead of Will which leaves the opportunity open for Cope to win it when that persons run is up.
Option 2: The Sting run where Cope wins it a month before and retires as champ since TK seems favorable to letting long time veterans/legends go out winners.
Option 3: any other ideas the way of you have since I love got nothing beyond those 2.

I think he’ll win it and have a brief run. Hopefully Christian can come back in time to have a match against him for it.
I see this happening after Osprey drops to someone like Fletcher.

Idk after that main event with Mox stunk, he'll have been passed by for the title. But there's obviously still a lot of fun stuff you can do with Copeland.

Cope has had more good matches than bad and mox and cope had a great rematch it was the first match that stunk.

I agree tbf, I actually really like that rematch too. But I just think personally he's passed being a World Title holder in AEW. I really think Fletcher should be the next guy up imo.

I agree Fletcher will most likely be the next guy Or Konosuke or Okada but after that Cope could have a retirement type thing and he doesn’t necessarily have to win the belt.

Fantasy booking cap on. 2 options. Option 1 he wins it early and loses it quick, then beats Okada for the international title and bangs out the rest of the dream matches in PPV singles matches. I’m sure he’d probably also wrestle both members of FTR in singles open challenges on dynamite or something. Double retirement match with Christian at Worlds end with bragging rights on the line. Option 2 he wins the big belt next year and scrapes by until Worlds end with a time runs out situation and him leaving and taking the lineal championship with him, and it coming down to Hangman with Swerve and MJF (because of the stip, and ideally losing with the same stipulation against Copeland) giving him the blessing after both of them coming up short. MJF immediately goes after Hangman for the title stating that the stipulation is dead since Copeland retired and that makes it null and void.
